    The oil applied to dry hair penetrates better and deeper. But be careful! Contrary to what it may seem, this is absolutely not an advantage: the oil has a strong solvent action. If the oil penetrates deeply into the hair fiber, it dissolves the sebum and lipids present in it. The result is hair that appears brighter immediately after application, but which in the long run is weakened and even drier. So always be sure that you apply it on damp hair (on the scalp you can apply it to dry hair instead) 💜🌿

      I’m not trying to be rude here, I actually find this claim very interesting as I’ve never heard it before. Do you have any sources I can check out?

    • @sarazicchieri3620
      @sarazicchieri3620 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@rikketakera unfortunately I can't find any sources in english... but I can try to explain, what I was trying to say, in a better way: when the oil penetrates too much into the hair, it dissolves the naturally occurring lipids in the central part of the hair. And due to the empirical law “like dissolves like” which indicates how an apolar compound does not melt into a polar one and vice versa, the hair is drier.
      The penetration must not go beyond the cortex just under the "tiles of the hair" to be clear. So as to increase the cement effect of the flakes with the compacting effect. ☺️

    Hey Anna! I've been following your haircare routines since 2018. I try and incorporate the things that you mention in your videos. Diy hair masks are not really possible for me, but I do apply the oils you suggest, the protective hairstyles, the no heat thingy, etc. I've in fact started using blackseed oil (along with other oils mixed) once a week and have never looked back since. But now I'm facing hairfall and its not THAT severe, but since I have been shedding for a few months now, I see my hairline receding, and I've noticed a few bald spots too. Worst part is, I'm just 23! Cannot deal with this shit happening to me. Could you please suggest me ways to reduce hairfall and promote new hair growth? TIA♡

      Thank you! First you have to figure out what's causing the hair loss. It could be hormonal, a vitamin or nutritional deficiency, stress, etc. It might be a good idea to see your doctor to make sure everything internally is good :)

    Yess! I used to put too much oil on my hair for the nutrition masks back when i first started the capillary schedule when you showed it to us. I used too much cocunut oil and noticed alot more hair fall then usual when washing it out. I've used only a thin layer since then and it leaves the hair way more smooth 🖤🖤

    Hi Anna
    Loved to see your vlog❤️
    I have a question for you
    When do you first detangle your hair after the wash? Before or after the leave in. When is it best to detangle so that you get minimum breakage?

    • @OrganicallyAnna
      @OrganicallyAnna  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I detangle when it's almost 100% dry. My hair tangles really easily, and when it's wet or damp I find I just experience a lot of breakage and it takes forever, even with a wide-toothed comb. I find it easiest to detangle before washing, and then again once it's dry. My hair is also straight though so it's just what's easiest for me :)

    • @ashleys3365
      @ashleys3365 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I also should add would you do this even if not being sent S&C's often from companies? Do you have a top two S&C's that you could recommend? Thank you for any feedback you

    • @OrganicallyAnna
      @OrganicallyAnna  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! I switch between them each wash, but sometimes I'll just switch around when I feel like it. Even before I started receiving products in PR I usually had a couple of s&c on the go bc I'm a bit of a hair product junkie lol. As soon as I get like halfway through a bottle I'm itching to try something else, even if what I was using before was working well. Switching is definitely not necessary, I mainly do it bc I want to try everything and I'm inpatient 😅

  • @addie_iaccino90
    @addie_iaccino90 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hey!! I love your videos, they’ve really helped me. I just have a couple questions. Is there a specific way you wrap your hair in a towel so it doesn’t get tangled? And if you can’t avoid blow drying your hair (me in the Winter) is there any heat protecting you can do? Have a great day!! ☺️

    • @OrganicallyAnna
      @OrganicallyAnna  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you! I just throw it up in the regular way :) Using a cotton t-shirt or a towel specifically for hair can help a lot with tangles and frizz. Briogeo's Rosarco Milk leave in conditioner is a great leave in for the winter and it's also a heat protectant!

    Hey I love your channel!! I hope your doing good Anna also I had a quick question.
    Is it possible for a hydration mask to make my hair really fragile?
    I’ve been using the Shea moisture manuka honey mask and when ever I use it my hair snaps off. Granted my hair is bleached but it does not normally just snap?
    Could it be the mask?

    • @OrganicallyAnna
      @OrganicallyAnna  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it's definitely possible! It could be due to hygral fatigue, or over hydrating the hair. If this is the only mask you use, then it's possible that your hair is getting too much hydration. This can make your hair really weak, elastic, and it can cause breakage. This mask also has coconut oil in it as the second ingredient, and if you have protein sensitive hair this might be the cause. I hope that helps narrow it down a bit ♡

      Yes genetics play a huge part, especially with hair type. My hair is low porosity so I don't experience much frizz. It's also important to make sure your hair is getting enough hydration and protein too, not just oil treatments. Ultimately, learning more about your specific hair type and what works best for you is what's going to give you the best results!
