    The best thing for the fridge (and all your cabinets in general) is to containerize *everything*. Bins, bins, bins. In the fridge, if something breaks or leaks, the mess will be contained. Nothing will be loose to fall out when you open the door.

      I love that idea...especially how everything will be contained within the bin if something spills or leaks. Thanks for the great tip!

    Problem is cabinets too deep, move things out to get to items in the back

    I have a magnet strip with an adhesive on the back for the knives it works sometimes the magnet strips have fallen off the wall a few times and the knives have stabbed my countertop and I’ve woken up to knifes on the floor so I’m gonna switch to a real magnetic strip specifically made for knives cuz it’s not safe to have knives falling especially with dogs sleeping in that area so make sure it’s made for knives and also that it screws into something for more reassurance

    We put a magnetic knife strip in our medicine cabinet for my wife's jewelry, Bobby pins, hair ties, etc...

      This is brilliant! You could also glue magnets to containers and have them stick to it too. Thanks for sharing!

    Magma (NESTING) pots are induction friendly and high BTU friendly (for those tired of burning food on thin-bottomed camp sets. JosephJoseph also has a flat/folding drying rack, an amazing set of nesting containers with colour coordinated snap lids, and other great bathroom organizers (fit electric toothbrushes) in addition to the nesting bowl set in this video. Nesting is more efficient and better longevity to me than collapsing silicone products and easier to clean. As far as utensils…a utensil roll (campcraft outdoors, Etsy, DIY, etc…) that can be hung up (like “Simon, a bloke in the woods”) keeps utensils off counter, out of limited drawer space, and easily transferred to outdoor kitchen set ups on great weather camp days, could be hung on a lantern hook (iclimb & others). Nogent French can opener is very small and easy to use. And stainless steel dishes last forever, wash easily, stack/nest thinly and they can go in the dishwasher back home…like MSR bowls.

      Your camp/RV kitchen list is one of the better ones out there!

    I adhered galvanized steel panels using strong double stick tape and was able to get those nifty spice jars wi the magnets on the bottom. Also, magnet hooks and “push pins” to hang utensils and cups. Very cool and looks good, too!

      Thank you. I like to think that it makes it more authentic…but honestly it’s mostly just my inability to edit that well. 🤣. Thanks for watching. 👍

    Fun fact that I learned: most of the sliding wire doo-dads and the over-the-door organizers are too big for my RV cabinets. Make sure to measure!

    Joseph Joseph makes a cutlery drawer store that holds alot of cutlery in a small space. They are about 4 or 5 inches wide its great.

      Hi Leigh, I used to have that as a freebie on my website, but I changed the freebie to be an organization checklist. If you want to email me at. Tim (at) LearnAlongwithme.com I will email it to you if that works for you. (Replace the “at” with the proper symbol). 👍🏼

    Hi. My family is new to the RV game. Can you use small screws to hang items such as baskets and such on the rv walls?

    • @LearnAlongWithMeVideos
      @LearnAlongWithMeVideos  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Maryann Castro hi, many folks avoid screwing into their RV walls and aim to put screws into the side of wooden cabinets instead. Hope that helps.
