I have a low gpa from dental school because I wasn't looking forward and tbh dental school is hard doesnt matter where you're at. I came to the US 3 yrs ago and i have completed DA school graduated with 4.0gpa and Director's award, completed DH prereqs with a 4.0 gpa, I have DA externships at Loma linda university in CA and at Private practice, I'm hoping to finish DH school with a good gpa and then I'll work on the INBDE. I didn't get to practice much after graduating and like Frannie mentioned it is a psychological battle because sometimes I feel like I'm not going to do well in bench test interviews due to lack of practice. I'm still going to try and see what happens
what are u doing now thou ?
hygiene is an excellent gateway into getting license again because administrators want to see you actively working towards your goals and constantly staying busy and learning more! keep going you can there! I see so many foreign docs where I live in miami attain the license the same way youre doing it!
Great video 👍🏻
thank you brother!! ❤️ huge need for international dentistry
it’s £1,200 the INDBE which in USD is around $1,500 or just under. My straighteners fell outa ma hand when I heard 12000 😂
yeah they rob us always
I attend dental school in Ireland, and is accredited in Canada. Do I still need to write the TOEFL to apply to these programs?
Hello, loved the video so interesting ! she didn't mention DAT after so I assume doesn't need to pass it ?
I'm working as a dentist in france for 5years now, and considering to start the process to work in USA. In our curriculum can we mention our experience and courses even if it isnt in USA ? thank you !
DAT is typically required for dental school admissions in the US, but for the international dentists maybe there are other ways.
also, yes, in your curriculum you should mention all the experience you have.
thanks for the support!
0:11 thats LITERALLY my cousin HAHAHA no way
Its $1200 not 12000 because i did it one year ago maybe she said it by mistake
THANK YOU FOR THIS! $1200 is right, how has the process been for you doc??
Hi, is BDS recognised or is it only DDS and DMD?
bds is only recognized for application of US Dental License (DDS/DMD)
Awesome video! What about an international student that finish undergrad un US and apply to US dental school directly? Is is the same?
nothing changes for residency if you already completed DDS Program in US as an International student
are you applying for residency soon?
Hey Brother. I have completed my Dentistry from India and I am currently on a Work Permit in Canada. I have a Canadian Dental Assistant experience. I am done with ECE. How many dollars can be earned as a dental assistant in America?

How is the process to dental therapist, am a registered student GDC dental therapist
Hi Doc, do you know if I graduated from a HS from NJ if I need to take the TOEFL? or do you know where I can find that information, because I left the USA, just to get my dental degree and I am coming back to Florida soon. Thank you!
hi! if you graduated high school in the U.S., you might not need to take the TOEFL, but it depends on the specific requirements of the dental program or licensing board in Florida. i'd recommend checking with the Florida Board of Dentistry or the school you're applying to-they should have clear guidelines on whether the TOEFL is required for your situation. safe travels back, and best of luck with your next steps!
@@DoctorRanaDDS thank you!! I can’t wait to get back!! ❤️
hi, Is AEGD graduate able to work in all the states? or is the completion of residency different to work?
hi! yes, an AEGD graduate can work in most states, but licensing requirements vary by state. some states may require additional exams or certifications. check with the state dental board where you plan to practice to confirm their specific requirements. which state are you thinking about?
I have both INBDE and Toefl. But I’m willing to work anywhere. I would love Florida which I think requires 2 years, AV, AEGD OR GPR. But I guess I asked the wrong question. I’m wondering if after I complete an AEGD after 5 years is there the chance of interstate mobility?
Hi, can I take the IELTS insted of TOEFL or does it have to be the TOEFL?
ive never heard of IELTS im not sure?
its same 2 yr course do dds or do aegd ( dental residency) u need funds for both so what is the benefit
exactly, the AEGD is more clinically focused, since everybody in the program is already a dentist. many times people dont want to go back to dental school with 3rd and 4th year students for DDS program. hope this helps!
tell the way which cost less money these are very expensive courses like DDS
@@poojakumari-km7rr AEGD is much cheaper but more competitive to get accepted to also for that reason
Can a dental graduate work in USA as a dental assistant....
yes absolutely!
best way to become a doctor is with more dental expericne
How difficult is the 2 year advanced standing program? Is it predominantly theoretical or clinical? Im currently about to start my third year in university of Cairo in Egypt and i was wondering doctor if you can tell me some hot topic research ideas, systemic reviews or meta-analysis i can do as a student
the 2-year advanced standing program can be quite challenging since it's tailored for international dental graduates and covers a lot of ground quickly. it’s mostly clinical, giving you plenty of hands-on experience while also diving into the theoretical side of things. as for research ideas, I cant really help too much with that Ive never liked research. but good luck with everything at Cairo University!
Do you have Telegram or another social media platform where I can reach you (Twitter or WhatsApp would be optimal)?
I would like to chat with you...
I'm currently 16, living in Italy and I would like to have more information on a quick friendly chat...
(btw I used I was also addicted to Minecraft a couple of years ago-I used to play ranked Bedwars.).
P.S. Your accent sounds more American than 99% of Americans.
Hope I get a reply ;)
Get into the program is the most challenging part, besides that everything is very easy!
@@joseluistapia2097 is it predominantly clinical or theoretical? And is the curriculum difficult in the sense that scoring in the top 10% of your class is very challenging if I want to specialize later. Also during the 2 years or 2.5 years is there any vacations like Christmas or summer?
