- I took the Hatch STi out with my Boss to give him a ride before he moves cross country. We also launched the car a few times on the street, realizing we're just about ready for the track.

For your first build I think you got it right. Cause you’ve beat the crap out of it. I think a lot of missed shifts come from over thinking it with a passenger. I bet you don’t miss as many when it’s just you and no camera. Did you say 4 slicks and drag strip? Come with it summer time.

From experience with better tires at the strip, side stepping is going to snap axles. With the triple you have to ride it out. Get a dragy and watch your launch times on the street. Spinning more doesn’t launch faster.
Yeah... I was just in a "send it" kind of mood and didn't care one bit LOL. When it goes to the track, I'll put a little more time and care into learning the launch 😅🤣🫶🏼

This is insane! Would you ever think about getting a VB WRX? I'm sure you've seen the 650 one with stock internals? Imagine the potential once IAG comes out with a longblock for the new FA24
The bigger issue with the VB is fueling. The one making 650whp (Mikey and Felix perf. Both were at similar powers) had to use meth injection and other stuff to make it that high.
