    So cool! Yah I’ve messed with this a bit & made some nice art. You can also put the UV directly into the mixed 2 part epoxy resin and cure it with the UV lights, then let the 2 part continue to cure overnight. Like making white waves in blue waters.. use the UV for the white and hit it with the light, then the other blue cures around it after several hours- lots of neat stuff happens there. It’s endless 👌
    Thanks for sharing your beautiful art 😊

    Great tutorial, Daniel, thank you! 😊 I only work with UV resin (so far), but thanks to your technique of using the torch (I got the same as yours and love it) while squeezing out the resin has made such a difference to the things I can do, so TY for that, as well! 😊
    TIP: I found out...the hard way (pun intended!), that if one uses the clear needle tip bottles...DO completely wrap them with black tape! LOL! 😅

    UV resin is the only resin I have used and am actually kind of nervous to use epoxy resin (afraid of the whole mixing correctly and what if it doesn’t harden! 😬) but need to learn since I want to do some bigger projects. This heart of Ta Fiti is stunning. Thanks for sharing! ❤️

    Do you find that the UV resin layer separates from the epoxy resin layer? I had heard (on shaker videos) that they didn't adhere well.
    I have been using glow in the dark pigments in resin as well - most recently I made a little pencil cup and I mixed in some alcohol ink to shift the color a bit (make it deeper) and added white piñata ink to make it more opaque. It would be interesting to see if it is possible to make alcohol ink using the glow in the dark pigments ...

    • @daniel..cooper
      @daniel..cooper  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, have had no issues yet 😊. Yes, I have tried with glow pigments but need to work on it more before it can work but have had good results 😊.

    I have a great UV torch I got for 20 bucks on Amazon it is so powerful and cures quickly. I can't think of the name now but I'll come back in a few when I find the flash light and give you the name, bcuz I have tons of uv lights for doing nails an what not some that came with the uv resin but they can be resteictive when it comes to the size of the uv project so I would love to give you the name of this awesome uv torch

    Hey so I thought when you add white ink to any color for e.g green it would become opaque, so I used to avoid adding glow powder at the back, thinking it wouldn't glow
    So, My main question is the white ink doesn't make it opaque?
    And wonderful video thanks for creating 🙂🙌

    • @daniel..cooper
