    Thanks for this. My grandfather (Terence Francis O'Brien, Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo) fought in this column. He was captured and via either exile or prison break wound up in NYC. Dílseacht (by Ruairí Ó'Bradaigh) is a good book about Maguire's exploits.

    Total Respect and Admiration to the Western Boyo for remaining true and steadfast to his original ideals/intent for the rest of his life, which turned out to be the majority of the 20th Century;(1921-1993):
