It's an awful shame the way the IRA (the provos Adams and McGuiness) were infiltrated by MI5/CIA. Ireland is fucked now anyway is part of the globalist deep state. Paddy is out of his mind on cocaine, porn, and GAA.

Rewriting history to suit an expansionist narrative, justifying proxy incursions, ethnic cleansing and proxy violent incursions into other countries, is not uncommon. Even on our own doorstep, the Republic of Ireland have totally rewritten and sanitised, not only Dublin's part in history, but also foolishly inserted a part of their fictionalised version of history, into their constitution and national anthem, for all to see. "A Nation Once Again" or “reunification” are fictional, concepts, fantasy, nonsense statements, as there was never a sovereign Southern Irish government that governed Ulster, now called Northern Ireland. Ulster or Britain have been the only two historical rulers of Ulster. Ulster was independent kingdom before being subdued and ruled by the British, conquered centuries after our Southern Irish neighbours. “A Nation Once Again” for Ulster, now unfortunately called Northern Ireland, would be independence, not unification, as claimed by the Republic of Ireland and used as the justification for violence.

The interviewer's attempts to goad O'Connell - the usual style of interviewing IRA leaders during the 1970s - is hopeless; O'Connell simply isn't taking the bait. And note the false politeness - the repetition of "Mr O'Connell". The interviewee is having none of it.

Tom's recollections of the differences between the IRA in Dublin where everyone wore suits and carried briefcases and the IRA in West Cork where everyone would go long intervals between meals when you were in the Flying Columns, and sleeping wherever you found yourselves at that time. Also that every man carried a razor and toothbrush with them so that they would blend in with the populace .since they knew that a scruffy unkempt man would come in for scrutiny from the RIC and the Black and Tans.

I'm from Ireland but live in the States and one thing i have learned is every Irish American i meet has some lie his Irish father told him about fighting the Black and Tans or fighting with Collins. Ive spoken with men whos fathers were born in the 1960s who fought in the Civil War 😂😂😂😂😂

What an amazing explanation of how it was during such a sad time for Irish men,to sacrifice their lives,to give its people the freedom we have today, this freedom should never be taken for granted, nor should it ever be destroyed by our current Government bodies, that lack the understanding, pride,or the courage to not sell out the Irish descendents of such brave men of the past .My heart breaks, when I think of how it must have been like, for so many people in Ireland back then.I bow my head to all the Irish men women, that gave us all what we have today.Thank you ,and RIP.
