I’m personally excited to try Emilie with Sigewinne for burgeon teams since Sigewinne applies slow hydro with the bubble hitting the enemy one at a time. I’ve been having fun with Dehya burgeon with nahida sigewinne Furina and the burning aura actually is consistent from what I see so we’ll see 🤔
I really appreciate the editing and quality of both analysis and explanation ! I would compare Emilie's kit to Xianyun's because of its impact on the teambuilding and meta, it adds a fresh air to Genshin and that's always positive.
Glad you liked it! Emilie is not quite a healer/support like Xianyun, but I do agree that her impact on team-building will likely be similar to Xianyun's plunge niche more than Chiori and Geo.

She is 😭, people are just hating on her for her design and the fact she’s a Burning Sub DPS. Her Scalings are INSANE high and she basically does a Hu Tao Ult every 4 seconds, due to her A1 Passive (600% ATK Scaling)
I believe Emilie will get a massive buff with the release of the Pyro Archon, since they most likely will have skill based 100% uptime off field pyro application. At least I hope so, i am so fed up with xiangling
For me, it would be better if she still buffs the actual burning reaction to put more value on her plus how Dendro vision wielders revolves to reactions and to make out of elemental mastery
I wish her C6 was similar to Miko's c2 and made it so her skill starts out at lv 2 and can become lv 3 and her burst can have lv 4... or maybe even has 2 shots shoot out or have 2 cases active at the same time

No problem! C2 isn't irrelevant with Deepwood, but it gets less value because RES Shred's effectiveness gets halved when an enemy's resistance goes below zero. For instance, let's say an enemy has 20% RES and you have the 45% shred like you said. 20% of that shred is used to decrease the enemy res to zero. So you have 25% RES shred left. It doesn't go to -25%, because RES shred is halved when going below zero. So, you end up with -12.5%. Thus, that remaining shred gets less effectiveness. That doesn't make C2 bad at all with Deepwood, just that you get less value from it.

if ur ok w less damage then it should be fine. But Emilie does not have a decrease dendro res built in her kit(i dont think?) until c2 which makes the deepwood set irrelevant . You could just do deepwood on emilie in that team tho!
It's fine if you don't. I would recommend Dehya over Xiangling tho because, from personal experience, Ganyu melt really likes resistance to interruption. Once Natlan releases, though, you should be able to strongbox deepwood.

It's not "bad", but when you shred RES below 0%, any additional RES shred gets half the value. For instance, if an enemy has 40% RES and you have 60% RES shred, the first 40% brings it down to 0%, but the other 20% will bring it down to "-10%" and not "-20%".

EM does very little for Emilie to increase her damage. Better to invest in stats like ATK, Crit, and DMG% to increase her damage (or even ER like with Fav to potentially burst more).
Its very disappointing that every tc and content creator neglected Klee. They never include her into their calc and analysis. Every video i have watched regarding her kit i was hoping someone would actually include the analysis of her synergize with klee but no. It seems like everyone is just copying each other. If you could reliably proc the weapon's passive on Xiangling it would be good. However, the only way Xiangling is activating the passive is if she triggers burning. The problem is that once you trigger Burning, the burning aura (pyro) will persist on the enemy and the only way you can trigger burning again is with dendro. Thus, I don't think Xiangling can continually trigger burning to proc the weapon passive.

I wouldn't run Furina because you have no healer, Arelcchino can't get healed anyways, and the Hydro app will take away Burning uptime for Emilie. Bennett would be really good in that slot. For Thoma artifact set, any support set is fine, but if you want to optimize, Deepwood is great so Emilie can run the burning set.
Emilie should always be DPS built. For the team, I assume you want to go EM Thoma for Burgeon? Should be okay Burning uptime with double dendro. But if in game, it happens that Yelan is removing way too much burning, you can remove her and go a second pyro unit (for instance).
IMO, C2 Nahida is currently a better vertical investment if you want to make most existing dendro teams stronger, while Emilie is a new character that can provide new team comps. What you think is worth depends on you. Emilie's "worth" may increase with Natlan's release, but we'll have to see when it releases.

I hate that mihoyo gives so few primogems so we can never go for a character + their weapon or even wish on each banner and instead we have to skip whole banners to save enough for a character, then loose the 50/50 and get a Qiqi. Like for fucks sake at least let us choose which one of the standard characters we get or if we lose the 50/50 give us a combo of random standard character + 5 star weapon.
A new character that can open up new team options vs a constellation whose value is getting closer to C2 (IMO C1 isn't too valuable on Yelan, only that it gets you closer to C2). Personally, I value getting a new character

Doesn't she need 3000 ATK to get the 36% DMG bonus from ascension passive? It says for every 1000 ATK you get 15% DMG bonus. So at 2000 ATK it's 30% DMG bonus and that remaining 6% is only reachable if you manage to get her up to 3000 ATK. Is this correct?
that's what i originally thought too, but after browsing through some tc discord it seems like the assumption is that 2400 atk is enough. if this isn't the case, then just aiming for 2000 atk is fine because 1000 atk for 6% isn't worth it (without buffs)
