Mavuika overworld exploration is META. I can't explain how much time saved gathering mats and completing dumb quests that require climbing. Stamina applies only in battle. This fact made me skip pulling for Arc.

As mobile player arle play style is very uncomfortable to play had enough to guarantee one of them and after trying both i chose clorinde

i have c2 nahida and furina for a cracked chlorinde set but I feel like that will just make her on par with other dps

I feel like every Genshin CC forget that Chlorinde got buffed indirectly as they are forgotting about the new Natlan shield mechanic. Chlorinde absolutely shreds those shields. With C1, she shreds them even faster with the clone procs. She is the best at getting rid of them, even better than the Natlan characters in this department. I also think in the future, this new elemental shield mechanic will be seen more often, even after leaving Natlan imo.

no character is bennett reliant.. my bennett is lvl20, I don't use him at all.. nor xingqiu, or xiangling.. and I'm still hitting at least 800k with mavuika c0r1.. her best until now was 1.2m.. as for clorinde and arlecchino, I'm using both on my overload team (raiden, clorinde, arlecchino c2r1, chevreuse c6), and the damage is very good.. although I've been testing arlecchino with citlali lately (citlali c0r1, xilonen c2r1, arlecchino c2r1, kokomi) and it's hitting a nice ~150k.. and yes, both citlali and xilonen are using cinder city bc I'm not gonna farm a whole new no-def set for citlali..

Mavuika is dogwater without her best melt comp. Her donut attack looks goofy and is way too clunky. And you cannot pair her with C6 Chev. Arle any day of the week.

Arley always worth to pull plus she good for newbies and obviously she f2p friendly same goes to clorinde all char fountain worth to pull

I don't think iansan is gonna be a dps, we already have 4 dps from natlan already I think iansan should be an off fielder/support And since she comes from a tribe all about strength, and we dont have any dedicated physical electro character, iansan can be perfect to fill this niche, while also being able to be just used as a scroll bot for overload, quicken etc

For Arlecchino vs Mavuika, Arle's Bond of Life-mechanic stresses me out. Especially since I am not the best at dodging, even with a shielder (learned that the hard way during one of the battle-events a while back). So Mavuika is a much more comfortable option for someone like me.

I was pulling for four star cons and got a random early Keqing. So now at least Wriothesley is guaranteed unless i get an early. Wich i wouldnt mind. ( I got two weapons i could have got C6 Chevreusse already she is at C4 now).

Considering I somehow managed to win 3 50/50s in a row and got Arlecchino C2 in like 50 pulls… I have no choice but to main her now lmfao

They are good characters. I lost my 50/50 on both Mavuika and Citlali, and I only got just Mavuika. So for the second half I tried to get Chevreuse and Lan Yan. I did not get one single copy of Chevreuse before getting 2 early Arlecchinos. So be really careful when pulling on this goddamn banner for Chevreuse.

This is just my subjective opinion. Objectively speaking, however, the character that you have the most fun playing will ALWAYS be your strongest character. Do what you want, but I hope my input was helpful for somebody. I have both characters, I've played since 1.0 and I've 36* Spiral Abyss since 1.1/1.2. I'm not looking to slander anyone's favorite character, but here is my input for those looking to decide which character to pull for this 5.3 second half as someone who's seen the rise and fall from meta of many DPSs: If you are an F2P player, Arlecchino is, in my opinion, one of the best five star pyro DPS, even with newer units like Mavuika who can power creep her at high investment. Her waveclear is great due to her wide range AOE attacks with large multipliers, and she's quick with dishing out damage. You won't have trouble clearing single bosses or a group of mobs with Arlecchino. I say this, having both Hu Tao and Mavuika (which are both great pyro DPSs in their own right), so I've seen my fair share of big numbers and know Arlecchino can keep up with the current leading DPS units. In my opinion, Arlecchino's strongest teams include vaporize and overload (if you have C6 Chevreuse). She utilizes popular supports like Xinqiu and Bennett, which can fit into many other teams. Vaporize will always be in the damage dealing meta, so you cannot go wrong with picking Arlecchino as an F2P/low spender. My personal favorite of the 2 is Clorinde because of her quick playstyle. She's also able to dish out her fair share of damage. HOWEVER, she is a luxury pick if you already have another electro DPS. Her multipliers aren't particularly high (compared to new DPSs like Mavuika and Mualani), and if you want clear abyss with her, you will have to put considerable investment in both her AND her teammates (constellations, artifacts, etc...). Clorinde is not a hypercarry like Raiden or Mavuika, she needs reliable teammates. If you want to go Overload Clorinde, you will need Cheuvreuse (who works best in overload team comps). If you want to go Aggravate Clorinde, you will need to build a Dendro character (whom are only viable in Dendro related reactions). In my opinion, the supports you need to build for Clorinde's best teams are focused in one reaction and cannot be all rounders like Xinqiu and Bennett.

I prefer Arlecchino over Mavuika still simply because she's cool. Very cool.

An Eminator of Death in Genshin (kinda) VS Mary Sue. I would take Arlechino Anyday. Even Invest in C6 as well if possible rather than getting Mavuika. And Im a Neuvillette Main saying that. which implies she will be mostly used in Abyss only.

Even though i already pulled Mavuika and her weapon (i also pulled Xilonen & Citlali), i still pulled for Arle since i wanted her and i wanted to get Chev and her cons and wouldn't mind a Clorinde either (even though i have a C2R1 Raiden). Thankfully, i was able to come out with a C1 Arle and a C1 Clorinde and i just pulled C6 Chev and C6 Lan Yan earlier today (first time i ever pulled a new 4* and got their C6 on the same banner) this was my luckiest banner yet. Im like 66 pity now and considering trying for either C2 Arle or a C2 Clorinde before the banner ends and i start hard saving for Skirk.

Mavuika is weaker than Arlecchino because Mavuika requires Citlali and Xilonen, ideally with sigs and constellation 2's with Bennett. WIthout all of that, she's a more niche, more clunky version of Arlecchino that is far, far more flexible in weapons, artifacts, team comps, and rotations. Do whatever you want, though.

Anyone saying that Mavuika "powercreeped" anything in a game as easy as Genshin is an instant ban and block. Do not listen to these people. Your units didn't suddenly get nerfed because of another unit. They are just as good. There is NO powercreep in Genshin because a team of four stars can easily clear all content. DO NOT LISTEN to these people. They are shills feeding into the FOMO to get you to "feel bad" about "being left behind". Don't fall for it. Pull for w/e the hell you want. I didn't pull a SINGLE Natlan unit, nor all the way from Emilie's banner. I don't feel any weaker than before. I'm going for C2 R1 Skirk if she has good constellations, and then going for Capitano if they ever release him, or Columbina. It is what it is.

I got Arle c2 early while trying to catch for LanYan c2 and she's more comfortable to play. The 4* are too good to pass plus I wouldn't mind getting cons for Arle.

Mavuika and Arlecchino are both equally powerful. Their differences lie in their versatility. At C0 Mavuika is needs a Natlan unit to perform while Arlecchino doesn't need anyone, and is more versatile than Mavuika. Only at C1 does Mavuika become more versatile.

I'm not expecting Iansan to power creep Clorinde because I don't think she will be a DPS. Instead, i think she will be a support, and may actually be a 4* character. Another possible character, Varesa (possibly the Bovine gal Hoyo showed in the 5.3 Livestream) should be the *5 electro main DPS. However, I expect her to be a physical main DPS (as the Collective of Plenty's emphais on athleticism and fitness really screams physical to me). So in reality, it is Eula who will get powercrept, not Clorinde.

Best of analysis as always.

Idk how to play Clorinde, but Arle is still definitely good despite me having Mavuika R1. Abyss still has two sides, and using both helped me out in Imagenerium theater as well. I would say Mavuika has my vote for better, but both excel in their respective best scenarios. It doesn't super matter who is much better than who anyways since the meta is so inconsequential. You just play who you like more. Haven't tried out Mavuika in support mode much since I enjoy her dps form, but she can do it when I want it. Although pyro traveller is a thing so I just opt to use them which is also great since I'm a Lumine lover.

Great video. Especially Mavuika C0R0 being equivalent to C1R0 Arle is what made me stop pulling for her, I pulled till I got Lanyan C2.
