The 08 to 10 are the best looking front I just got a 2010 getting ready to do the delete on her and the h&S tuner

Agreed. The new ones look pretty good too. The ones in between look like they got taken out back and beaten stupid

They are good looking trucks, awfully hard on the wallet though

@@backwoodsbuildingandfixing9223 Only heard horror stories from people who don't upkeep or just hog ride it... Never one time in my 6.7 (frugality can go a long way) happy too see plenty reach 400k / 500k 😤👌😇🙏💟

@@beautifulvibedynamic6155 Holes in pistons and worn out rockers are common, in engines both abused and babied. I've run only Rotella T6 5W40, changed it well before Ford specs, and it's starting to sound like my rockers are on the way out. I don't drive the truck hard, always do warm up and cool down cycles, and I never run the tuner set to kill. My HPFP got taken out by the lift pump failing at 80K kms (around 50K miles). Combined that's around a $15K job at a dealer. Failed thermostats, failed coolant hose seals, failed radiator, coolant bottle is currently warped and leaks a little past the cap when towing hard (new cap). It has always put lots of oil in the intake (before I installed the catch can) despite the babying and low mileage. Fuel mileage is genuinely horrifying, I have never seen anything suck back so much fuel doing so little work. I love the truck, but I hate it too, there are good reasons why Ford only used the 6.4 for 3 years. Enjoy the truck, but do not expect 6.7 reliability from it. I've owned a LOT of vehicles and this truck is by far the most unreliable one I've ever had.

@@backwoodsbuildingandfixing9223 lol, well I greatly appreciate the reply!((:
I've definitely had love/ hate relations with my trucks.... It's really a gamble and then like you said if it's a good one and you treat her with maintenance she could indeed reach the 400k 500k engine... Granted some other work horse trucks can reach almost 1,000,000 it all depends 🌅☑️
      Gotta love it! 💟
      Hope you are!

Mine has 120,000 and I bought it with 52,000 and did the deletes at 87,000 and no troubles. recently I started using the Archoil 9100 and 6200 and next oil change I'm changing from Rotella T5 to T6 full syn 5/40. So here is hoping!

T6 5W40 is my favorite flavour too, I don't know if it helps but it can't hurt. Living up in the frozen north I wouldn't want to run 15W40 anyway

I run 5w40 t6 in the winter and im tempted to run it year around, normally I like to run 15w40 in the summer since it does get hot here in utah and yet also cold in the winter, these 6.4s are good engines though if you take care and not run a hot tune, just treat it like a truck
