Hello Spencer, got mine in storage and I have found this very interesting. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family. 🌱Happy Gardening, Terry
Great informative video. Thank you for all your videos throughout the year. Wishing you and your family a great Christmas and looking forward to the New Year and a new growing season!. Thanks. Pat. :)
Yes. Temps above freezing but too cold for people are what we aim for. Here in the USA zone 7b NC we run a portable heater in the unheated laundry room kept at about 50 degrees. I store my tubers in newspaper and plastic grocery bags inside a styrofoam cooler. I divide the Dahlia clumps and label them before storage. Then I check on them once a month to make sure they arent too dry or if any are rotting. When Spring comes, its a fast project to get them back into the ground without having to divide. I learned all this from our local Dahlia Society. Its a good idea to become a member if you have a local club. Each meeting covers all we need to know to grow Dahlias. I could not have done it without them since there is a lot of wrong info out there and we cannot afford to fail with so many varieties and just enough time to get the job done. I wish everyone a wonderful new growing season in 2024! Good things are coming to us. Lets grow something beautiful. Central Carolina Dahlia Society NC on fb.

Great video. How long can we dry maximum the tubers before putting them in boxes to store?.
Can I use the fall leaves to mulch rather than the animal bedding? TIA
I'm going to grow these next year
Great!
What great information! Thank you! After you put them in the boxes, do you store them inside so they don’t freeze?
