The law of supply and demand in economics is very much alive and well. Where the supply curve and the demand curve meet is what the price is. This is an economic principle that is as true now as it was 200 years ago and will be 200 years from now. Brands and dealers are going to learn, first hand, what happens if you attempt to stray from these principles that they learned in college Economics 101.
At 100k only rich people buy those expensive cars regular working folks can't afford the taxes and insurance on one of those road hogs. SO car dealerships are at the mercy of rich folks. Rich people are not to bright when it comes to their money.

My problem is the amount of population and harm the production of these cars has caused just in America alone and its a actual shame that we are not using these vehicles. Like if we produce it then it needs to be in use. That for profit mentality for that industry is hurting our economy and our society. If it's just sitting there then why was it made? What economic need did they see that said we needed it produced and it would sell?

wow. they said this would happen. i guess it is.
The F150 actually holds value and much better than a Lincoln. You can get a Lincoln at carmax for the same price as a Toyota Corolla with identical miles and year.
Lot rot is real. Tires can get flat spots, sitting for too long(they need to be moved on a regular basis). If the vehicle is in the hot sun for a long time, the plastics will bake & crack.
Robbing the consumer, has finally caught up to the crooks
I have a 2011 Yukon, pulling up on 200k miles. Still running good. I have no plans on going into debt for one of these overpriced pieces of junk.
LOL. Scrolling, and the title is 5 stars. 😂
There’s a few problems. They definitely lost the cool factor and with interest rates. It makes it even harder.
For $100K I'm going Denali....
Guess you’ll have to finance the other 20k then…
At 100k only rich people buy those expensive cars regular working folks can't afford the taxes and insurance on one of those road hogs. SO car dealerships are at the mercy of rich folks. Rich people are not to bright when it comes to their money.
Good luck with those prices. I could easily pay cash for a 120k vehicle. I just refuse to do so. LOL at all the car dealers.
Same. I’ll just keep driving my current vehicles for however long it takes.
Bring back the Town Car with the reliable panther platform
100k is so common now. Scary
I wonder what people do to make that kinda of money.
Common? For WHO?? Pres. Trump ain't took office just YET..🤔
@@dbloyd2
They don't sell Lincolns..😏
Toyota has their own problems. LOL. All Toyotabois thing they're the best but they're just normally reliable.
Agreed. The Toyota of today isn't the Toyota of yesterday. They make mediocre vehicles at best.
Over engineering is gone forever; it’s the exact opposite now…..maximum profit given X number of recalls before warranty runs out…the new business model.
Sometimes dealerships need to learn their lesson. Many cares about profit over customer satisfaction and return customers.
Edit: I was looking and inquiring about a new 2024 Cadillac Escalade that a local dealership had listed for $25,000. Safe to say that they responded to my inquiry a day later and then cut off all correspondence with me then proceeded to jack up the price by over $120,000. 3rd dealership that done the same thing over the last 2-3 years.
not a single customer in sight either....ouch
For that building for the Mitsubishi dealer theres probably some kid in there staring at his phone making $16 an hour who knows nothing about any of the cars and is just mainly there to find you keys to drive one. They are probably shocked when someone comes and asks to check one out
im 39 when I was a young teenager my parents purchased a 2003 used Lincoln navigator that had 40k miles on it for $35k. back then a new 2005 lincoln navigator luxury(which was the base) 2wd cost 51k brand new. Never did I imagine back then that when I would become and adult that the price would more than double. The INFLATION IS INSANE!! I cant afford a new lincoln navigator in 2024 but my parents who where immigrants with little education could afford it in there times?? something is wrong here... what went bad?? inflation??...obama???
🎯🎯!!!
It so funny they built it cheap but the price it self not cheap and they still charging 30k+ lmao
Mitsubishi is a reliable car
And to think the Cadillac Escalade is more expensive and outsells the Navigator more than 2 to 1
And that which is a glorified Suburban, but still Cool! 😎😃😂
Sitting for so long tires will have flat spots
Love this type of content.
All cars are overpriced. Leasing is now too expensive because financing companies know the residual values on these overpriced vehicles is scary. This is why there are no longer any "Zero down" leases.
GMC Yukon and Lincoln and Ford F150's are tying to sell their vehicles at a Lamborghini price and they're failing. Serves them right.
I feel bad for the dealership
2024 cars and trucks that expensive and won't sell obviously
Yikes
As you said.... people want the newest model available not one sitting in the Hot 🔥 Sun for 500 days
I actually really like Mitsubishi, but their glory days are long over. As soon as the 3000GT bowed out, so did all their other offerings.
Lincoln has a similar problem without offering what made them famous. No Town Car, no thank you.
Just bought a 2024 aviator from Bill knight with a huge rebate and 2k incentive they were great to work with
This guy is a giga chad for casually filming overpriced, low quality luxury cars sitting for long in the dealership.
Mitsubishi when they had sports cars with v6 motors was a damn good car I had one eclipse
camry here. quality of japanese Mitsubishi is good no?
The Lincoln dealership in my region just converted into a Subaru dealership.
wow. bad for lincoln when the franchisee is running.
same thing happened to me -
I have warrantee repair issues to deal with and the next nearest dealership is 22 miles away and the next after that is 32 miles away - was your dealership Baldwin?
@@richardbernard6845 Yup. I think the one in Kenner is the closest these days.
Lincoln sales are up about 30% year over year. They will hit about 100,000 sales for 2024, highest in many years. The Nautilus just won MT SUV of year award.
Volvo is overpriced Chinese, Lincoln is overpriced junk Ford. I like Mitsubishis, still made in Japan.
Yea I heard when people can’t get a discount there a discord people will ask hitman to shoot up the car and spray paint the vehicle like the Tesla truck and people said they gonna slash tires it crazy
They have lost their minds. Not going to lie I spent 50k on an off lease range rover, but it has certified warranty and it's a range rover. If you're going to deal with potential reliability issues anyway, go all out. And I still spent $20k less than some of the options in this video.
Seriously i have a friend getting ready to hand in there lease they been with Lincoln forever and they want 700+ month for a Corsair which is way more than she paying for her current one. Crazy.
Did we get a raise I didn’t know about
It's about time the car dealers get the shit end of the stick. They hv been screwing the consumer for many many years.
Ford should start suing these dealership.
Consumers should also start suing the dealerships for price fixing and the pain and suffering that occurs post sale.
Lets see the families that own the dealerships get ground down to poverty.
