these were veterancy marks , acording the lore gold marks represents 100 years for each , since in space marine one titus had 2 that means its 200 years after the first , not to mention the chain on his right hand i think these are from the inquisition like he is under trial of loyalty to redeem him self ( not 100% thou )
The chains are probably because he hanged around Black Templars (who escorted him at the end of 1st game), but he also lost his rank - possibly because of the Inquisition bussiness. Im really curious to see what happened.
Close! I'll be talking about this in my next video - they earn a stud after each century, so depending on how far he was into his third century of service, and how far he is into his fifth, it could be as few as 101 years since the first game, and as many as 299.
I'm in agreement - I'm hoping the game will start before the events of the trailer so we can get at least a little caught up - there's a lot of ground to cover!
@@vavra222 thats abseloutly true , i was thinking about that too ,the inquesition loves dark templar because they are an extremelly secretive chapter , and really hard to be recognized by them , so much scenarios to think about ^^

Sigismund did this at first, after he hung around with some World eaters, who had that tradition first, back when they were loyal, and the Templars have continued that tradition.
You make a fair point! It's just a little harder to make a compelling plot with JUST Tyranids, BUT they could also add tension and strife with the Inquisition to level the playing field

@@Just2Ddude see this would be the perfect opportunity to fix that image in video games that tyranids are nothing but "dumb bugs", when it's the exact opposite. They're a hive race they're only dumb when they lose connection to the rest of the hive, whilst connected however they're under the control of the hyper intelligent hive consciousness. Fully capable of grand strategies, local tactics, understanding enemies etc. So far it's only the books that have done them justice
