And reasons are simple..humans are not nocturnal ,sleep at night rather than being on tracks enjoying daytime ..😊

exactly, we need to upgrade our local lines so we can run 200+ Made in India Vande bharat all over the country at 150+kmph rather than costly symbolic bullet train (Vande Bhrat runs maximum at 130kmph and only 0.3% Indian Rail Track is capable to effort that speed, spending $15 Billion dollars on one project like Bullet train is too much for a country like us, where as Vande Bharat is very much cost effective, eco friendly & would have been much more symbolic to Modi's own Made in India initiative)

Actually operational speed is quite less. It's around 90 kmph n not 130 kmph. It's really a good train which can easily goto 200 kmph but our current infrastructure is very outdated and doesn't support that speed.
@Anshul Kaushik Maximum Permissible speed is 130 kmph, it's not allowed to go above that. Also, less then 9 percentage of the tracks support that kind of speed, so point still stands. Also it takes 8 hours just to complete 758 kms. So its quite useless.
in India, tracks are not protected from intruders as there are no boundaries hence the horn is excessively used to keep everyone away! thanks for watching

There is nothing like semi-high speed train. New lines in excess of 250 kilometres per hour (160 mph) and existing lines in excess of 200 kilometres per hour (120 mph) are considered to be high-speed.
yes you're right about it since the top speed of Gatimaan and Shatabdi is more while due to the low section mps of 130kmph, Vande Bharat is forced to run at a slower pace!

You can't see anything. I used to travel to Delhi and fogs were a nightmare - trains getting delayed by 12 hours sometimes. If we have automatic train control system (used on Bullet Train), we could overcome this. Still, passengers and animals crossing the tracks, as well as repair crews are a hazard.
To all the people who are assuming that the featured station is New Delhi station... Let me clear it for you, it's not... I have been their (new Delhi station) .... It's highly developed with modern amenities..

Not exactly... it's just stoppages are fewer during midnights so trains travel longer distance without stopping.
