Hi Guys,I Love the high speed trains in this video..don't allow critics to talk nonsense.these trains are nearly as fast as anything in the Uk,Eurostar excepted,but You'll get there..that's for sure.Please though!!,try to get people off the tracks!!..Lovely video.
4vep vik these are nearly 100mph slower than Uk main line trains (125mph) the javelins on HS1 140mph eurostar 186mph section of the ECML 140mph new trains on the ECML may also routinley travell at 140mph so no these are nowhere near uk speeds....
@@Hsh637 you are right. But the per axle load on our tracks is much much greater therefore we cannot afford high speeds like 200kph. The tracks are perfectly capable of 210kph but the wear is much too high to permit the trains

@@DifferentSaturner Actually, in India, railways is the most common mode of long distance travel and are preferred over Highways and Airways by Indians. So Naturally, the have to be good :-)

Indian Railways have very very few steam locomotives, and all of them are in hilly areas. 😭 Now even diseal locos are very hard to spot, more than 75% of Indian Railways locos are electic.
Our LIRR are the only trains we have that comes close. Express running on the local track here is between 85-95 mph. But those trains are sick. More than a 100mph easy. Oh, and I've always loved trains!!!

Average speed of 71.43km/h is laughably slow. . Thank you for providing me with more information backing up my original statement: "Nice to see trains running in India. These Trains travel anywhere between 100 km/h to 150 km/h. Its high speed as per indian standards as there are lots of villages and habitations in between.
