My MB3 is coming in at the end of the month. I've been rocking 2 CLC 44 backpacks since I got in the trade. I do residential service so I have Heating and AC bags and buckets with pocket sleeves too. It's fun building a load out and I'm excited to pack my new Veto

I'll likely get started with my apprenticeship next week, but this video gave me a good idea of what I should add to/remove from my setup once I start earning some money. Right now my setup is just 2 Milwaukee tool chests (one rolling for power tools, one 3-drawer for extra/rarely used tools) which stay in my vehicle and then I have a large DeWalt bag for construction/demo tools, plus the 16" ToughBuilt tool tote which worked perfectly for me in trade school. I'll be starting with residential to start off since all of the commercial/industrial companies are 60+ min. away from me, which isn't great for a 14 mpg vehicle haha, but I hope to do that someday! I really like what you did with the back side of the bag. Kinda like what I do with 5 gallon buckets, only your way is better because it only requires carrying the bag, no extra bucket 👍🏻
Nice load out bro 👌 noticed your meter was on in the beginning, hope it’s not the bag turning it on when it shifts around. I know the meter shuts off after a bit but I hate when my meter dies during a diagnosis 😂 and anything that might shorten the battery pops out at me. Also excited to see what you got going on for your business keep it up man✌️

Thanks a lot for a video review, but i have a question. How you actually hoist or lift your "wheller" in/from the car by the telescopic handle or by the D rings like showing in the manual? I wanna buy this great backpack but uterrly not sure tt telescopic handle will withstand load like short lifts by the handle.
How the wheeler working out? I do apartment maintenance one building 5 floors with an elevator. This looks like the perfect bag to get down to 1 bag. I tried the xxl-f but i cant carry it all day lol
I’m NEVER going use it as a backpack. I have basketball knees and i bought it for it’s wheelabilty (new word) I thought about cutting the straps off too. Haven’t done it but I’ll bet the next gen Wheeler will be larger and won’t be a backpack.
I just started as a hvac tech and I already have 3 bags. One as just a everyday bag, one for simple jobs like changing a thermostat, and one with stuff I don’t use all the time. Sucks hauling all that stuff back and forth between my car and van. They haven’t officially given me a van yet 😥

I have the same thing now about three bags but this time it’s one for preventative maintenance, one for service calls, and one for heavy duty. Heavy duty as in changing bearings, swapping compressors, big jobs. Union is cool for the long haul but man is it tough money wise. On paper I’m making a decent wage but between taxes and what the union takes I take home about 55% of what I earned. “Paying” my “dues.” They say I’ll laugh about it in about 3-4 years tho. 🙄

I like to have it without the straps on the back too. They just get in my way. And to use that area on the back for extra storage it's great.
