    Welcome back to the YAKSHACK!! Threw another rigging video up> Spend more time fishing, less time hung up by using this weedless technique that our group uses to fish the Nikko Hellgrammite. Hope you find this video useful. Thanks for watching and please share with your friends.

    Thank you for that informative presentation. I have fished the hellgrammite from the very beginning and I do it almost exactly the same way most of the time. Definitely fewer snags the way you presented. Personally, I like to use Gamakatsu G-Lock hooks in a 1/0 size. I like the thinner wire hook than most of the regular hooks. But that's just personal preference and the hellgrammite will catch fish just about everywhere no matter how you rig it. Rigging Nikko's new leech bait is pretty much the same.

      I really appreciate you stopping by and watching. It’s an honor for the creator of this great bait to watch and drop a comment. I’ll check out those hooks you mentioned and give them a try. Thanks again for making this great bait.

    Like this one. Thinking about starting with a 1/16 ounce weight. Easy enough to change with a 1/8 Oz if need be. Anything weedless gets my attention. I’m always casting into weeds,wood or grass.

      They are by far more superior to most plastic baits on the market as far as durability and fish catching. We love those baits.

    New Subscriber from Indiana, great Vid! These became my favorite 'go-to' lures in 2021. Indestructible, catch everything that moves. That's a great way to rig them, I've recently started using them also on a Z-Man finesse Bullet head, & rigging them sideways for a better sideways profile. Thanks for sharing!

    I haven’t used a hellgrammite since Gapen tackle had one in the 90s. So you don’t peg your sinker down. Do you get hung less with out pegging and does it give better action. Gonna pick some up and give it try. Great video and cool t - shirt. You got wind and we got a ton of rain here in the Ozarks Great tip

    • @BigBaitPosse
      @BigBaitPosse  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. We do not peg the sinker. I believe the way we rig it gives it a more natural look. Especially in current.

    Great video...I'm a sucker for rigging videos! Are the Nikko baits made from something like Z-Man's Elaztech? Seems like as stretchy as they are it must be something similar.
    Have you tried the Z-Man TRD Hogz? Similar buggy type look...wondering if I need both.
