Hi Albert! I’m very interested in this for the fact that it is very affordable. Would charging the battery to 60 or 80% and then removing it be good for long term storage? Any idea what the voltage would be for those %’s?
@@AlbertKimTV Thanks Albert! Just watched your other video on the M4 pocket and think I found my budget solution. Just can’t figure out how it knows which way to send the current when using usb-c or know the difference between a phone and a power bank. I’m sure I’m just over thinking it… It’s weird but a sometimes super simplistic things trip me up more 🙂 Thanks again!
I bought this charger. Very bad : cells are totally unbalanced, never had this problem with my other chargers. One cell is at 4V and the 3 other cells are at 4.2V. Is there a way to calibrate it ?
Hmm, I'm not having that problem. Mine has been working fine but I have mostly newer batteries in good condition. Perhaps this charger is not able to balance old/bad condition lipos in the same way as a full charger.
@@AlbertKimTV thanks. I'm trying with all sorts of batteries. Do you unplug the Lipo as soon as it finishes ? Maybe it happens when I leave it plugged, it used to happen with old Hobbyking chargers, but never with such big different voltages.
@@AlbertKimTV Well, I just tried with other Lipos, even some brand new. I also updated it with the latest ISDT Firmware (they say it allows better compatibility with PD power supplies, that's what I use, a brand new 65 W PD USB C wall charger). Still the same bad final voltage : one cell at 4V, the 3 other cells at 4.2V. I will reach to ISDT to see if they can help. My advice to everyone, if you intend to use this as a travel charger with a 65 W PD Power Supply, don't buy it :-)
@@AlbertKimTV my problem is finally solved : I reached to ISDT, explained the trouble several times, and they sent me a calibration app ! Very easy to use on PC. I had a big voltage difference on the balance port. I told them they should put this app on their website (PD60Cal). Kind regards
@@AlbertKimTV 💘 this Ch. BTW. Good to see you out there doing what you're doing I appreciate what you do for the FPV community. It means truckloads to the one's that see the struggles.

Why connecting xt60 if the battery can be charged by the balanced 2s-4s port? Why both? Can I charge 4s Lifepo4 pack with bms by just using the xt60?
I wonder if there is a way to update firmware offline, without internet connection. The provided app ISD Go downloads the firmware from internet.
Hi. Have you ever checked dif you batteries are correctly ballance charged after using this. Thanks

I believe storage voltage of 3.8v will be around 50% but I would check the calibration of your charger with a multimeter to know for sure.

Too bad it doesn’t support 6S, been searching for a solution to use my 86W Apple Adapter to charge 6S batteries when traveling.
You can use this adapter with a standard charger with XT60 input if your charger uses USB-C Power Delivery protocols... amzn.to/3rlYnRx
@@AlbertKimTV just bought it with Q6 nano, thanks Albert!
Can I charge 1s lipos using charging board with this charger? Thanks!
Um, how to know what ampere u have to charge certain batteries
Can I use a normal usb to type c plug to power that? I would love to use that on my car.
Only if the charger supports the quick charge 2.0/3.0 or PD 2.0/3.0

@@saow could you send this app to me please? I have got the same problems since I bought this unit... That would be awesome ;)
Is safe to charge lipo battery 4s 1550 at 2 A or more
Depends on the battery, but 2A will be OK most of the time.
Can we parallel charge?
LOL... Probably not a good idea
Pretty nice little charger, Albert! Great review! 😃
Stay safe there! 🖖😊
Can I use for my 4s Liposuction Xt30 connection?
With an adapter 😁
Good price for that charger. Considering to buy one to leave in the car
Yeah, this will be handy in a pinch.
@@AlbertKimTV is it like isdt q6 nano which charges all the cell at same time?
Bought one.. got it yesterday.
I'm trying it out and it keeps going into protect.
I'm hoping your video helps me with this.
I heard from someone else with this issue that the power supply and/or the USB cable was the problem.
@@AlbertKimTV A bad negative clip in the balance plug doesn't help either. Thanks. It worked with a different pack.
