  • Tullich 15 is one of 27 carved stones found at the Tullich Church site in Aberdeenshire. It is a garnet mica schist monolith measuring 1.52 x 0.36 x 0.06-0.08m. It is incised with a number of small equal armed crosses. These are sunken crosses, cut with broad, square incisions, and their depth is limited by the lamination of the stone. The stone is thought to date from the later Pictish - Early Medieval period (7th - 10th Centuries AD). The video shows a 3D model created from scan data of the stone, and is shown 'unshaded' to highlight the carving more clearly.
