Tullich 14, Carved Cross Stone

  • Tullich 14 is one of 27 carved stones found at the Tullich Church site in Aberdeenshire. It is a
    granite stone measuring 325 x 300 x 55-70mm. It is incised with an irregular outline cross with what appears to be two attempts to design the upper arm, an inner line carved more lightly than the outer.
    Both incisions have a narrow V-profile. The stone is thought to date from the later Pictish - Early Medieval period (7th - 10th Centuries AD). The video shows a 3D model created from scan data of the stone.
