Odd Question maybe but how 'Strong' is Redstone really? Recently i started thinking about Minecraft being Invaded by other Games or by Anime or Books. Redsone in my mind is kinda this big Questionmark. TNT aside: What 'useful options' does Redstone grant !
It's hard to teach all of the possibilities of Redstone when you allow your bias to interfere what you cover. Having that "in my opinion X doesn't get used much so I won't explain it" mentality is flawed heavily. You did a good job covering basics, but getting into more complex topics, why different characteristics can help a circuit run as needed. You yourself may not see much use for some items, but for others, they can be a critical component. Choosing to make an "in depth and comprehensive guide" but leaving out critical points is counterintuitive. You're doing a major disservice to newer players.
I watched through the first series and it actually helps a lot! though I could suggest to plug a few exercises at the end of each video so viewers can try problem-solve it by themself!

If you are a beginner, do use carpet mod with /tick freeze and /tick step. Redstone circuits do their thing very quickly so it's hard to understand what is happening. Stepping through each redstone update at a time will give your brain the time to process everything and understand what is happening

That's really great! I watched your other series and I can confidentially say it's a huge improvement! If you truly want to make it as understandable as possible, you should use animations to help us visualize big redstone machines, instead of showing the entire thing at once in-game. I got this game synce beta, spent countless hours making stuff with redstone, still took me 13 frigging years to find out that stone and wood buttons have different redstone outputs Great tutorial indeed i guess

Been years since ive touched minecraft, but saw a clip from the upgraded redstone computer on instagram, stolen video of course, so i hopped into the comments and found my way here. Used redstone in the most basic ways, so seeing someone as advanced as this and making an indepth tutorial series is awesome to see!
I just followed the last series and it was amazing and very well done. I understood all of the concepts after trying them myself and it has been very helpful. Very excited for this series because I wouldn't be able to think of a better way to explain all of it but you have managed to do it. Why is the signal out from the hard powered solid black in front of the comparitior in subtract mode 7 when 7 went in, Surely it should be 6 as the block is the first in the sequence..., or does a. Solid block never lose power in transmission, unlike redstone dust?

I actually recommend building redstone in a normal world as well, as it will help you understand how to build around the world. Though, that is more so if you want to figure out decor later, and the way I like doing it is making a copy of the world I plan on adding the contraption to.
Certain features are missing, and small stuff here and there has been changed, which may break some contraptions (especially in 1.16 I think, when redstone dust was changed in quite a few ways.)

Purplers's video was great but QC isn't in bedrock because it's a Java bug. Why would the devs add a bug from Java into Bedrock? Just saying the tutorial was great though ^_^
What I found out is you can place a Redstone Lamp after a Repeater and it will still have full redstone power if you place the redstone behind the repeater behind the redstone lamp. So it increases its distance by 1 somehow lol

Yeh bedrocks redstone is not nearly as bad as purplers said, especially now, but you should still use javas because its more understandable in this way

Im pretty sure that most of these simple feature do work on bedrock. Except that single repeaters set at 1 tick don’t actually add delay.

Purplers's video was great but QC isn't in bedrock because it's a Java bug. Why would the devs add a bug from Java into Bedrock? Just saying the tutorial was great though ^_^

Redstone is everywhere…
What I found out is you can place a Redstone Lamp after a Repeater and it will still have full redstone power if you place the redstone behind the repeater behind the redstone lamp. So it increases its distance by 1 somehow lol

Yeh bedrocks redstone is not nearly as bad as purplers said, especially now, but you should still use javas because its more understandable in this way

If I was right, the copy and paste command of the WorldEdit mod is dependent on your position when running the //copy command.
Will the topics in this series be the same and expanded as the previous series? Because I watched the first 5 videos of the previous series and I'm starting to get very confused. I think some things are not explained enough in these videos...
