Imagine creating some dangerous/destructive contraption for someone on a server and you tell them what it does and how it works, but what you don't tell them is that you're able to sabotage it so they can't turn it back off, then watch the chaos unfold as everyone else tries to deactivate or destroy the thing.

Adjacent? Do you mean relative?

a few forgotten mechanics:
- HOPPERS !! how could you even not mention it
- comparators can take output from a container through a block. If the block is powered, the comparator will still output a signal strengh corresponding to how much the container is filled

strongly power block or redstone component in front of it when powered; 15 signal strength;
only power one way out; has 1 tick delay but, can be extended by right-clicking on it up to 4

by powering another repeater into the side of it, when locked it stay in the same state as

Redstone Comparator : output the same signal strength as the signal strength that came in, this carried through multiple
comparators; in normal mode it will stop giving output if signal strength came to the side is
stronger than the signal strength came to the back; in subtrack mode it will reduce the signal
strength that came from the back with the signal strength that came from the side (signal from the

on top of it, up to 15 signal strength
Iron Weighted Pressure Plate : same as gold pressure plate but, signal output increases every groups of 10 entities
Tripwire Hook : usage, place 2 tripwire hook facing each other, then connect them up with string, with maximum
distance of 40 blocks; strongly power block it placed into when an entity interact with the string;
can activate redstone component above, below, or next to it; give 5 tick pulse when the string is
broken, unless if the string was broken by player using shears
Daylight Sensor : output signal strength depends on day light that it receiving; can activate redstone component
around it; doesn't power surrounding block; can be toggled to night mode to do the exact
opposite thing
Lectern : give comparator output depends on how many pages you read
Trapped Chest : constantly output redstone signal when opened; 1 signal strength; strongly power block underneath it;
can power redstone component around it
Observer : detect block updates in front of it, then sending signal from it's back; 15 signal strength; strongly power block
it facing into; 1 tick pulse; movable
Fence Gate : opened when powered, closed when unpowered; movable; can opened/closed by hand
Wooden Trapdoor : same as fence gate
Iron Trapdoor : same as wooden trapdoor but, can't be opened/closed by hand
Wooden Door : same as trapdoors but immovable; 2 block tall
Iron Door : same as wooden door but can't be opened/closed by hand
Dropper : randomly spit out item from filled slot in it's inventory when powered; solid block
Dispenser : same as dropper but, can fire out certain item (spawn eggs, TNT, etc)
Piston : extend it's limb when activated, which can push block in front of it; has 1 tick delay; can push up to 12 blocks;
movable
Sticky Piston : same as piston but can retract the block that being pushed on; will not retract it's block if given 1 tick pulse
Redstone Lamp : light source; need to be activated; has 2 tick delay; movable; solid block
TNT : explode 40 ticks after activated or ignited with fire or other explosion; doesn,t cause block damage if set off on water;
movable
Note Block : play a note when activated; right-click to change the note, change the block underneath to change the tone;
solid block
Detector Rail : strongly power block underneath when there is minecart on top of it; 15 signal strength; can activate redstone
component above, below, or next to it; movable; 10 tick pulse every 10 tick time required for minecart to travel
over it
Activator Rail : can eject mobs from minecart when activated; can repeatedly activate command block minecart; can disable
hopper minecart; can activate TNT minecart
Powered Rail : powered up to 8 block from the original source; speeds up minecart that travel over it when activated; slows
down minecart that travel over it when deactivated
Slime Block : stick to any movable block (except glazed terracotta) surrounding it; movable; bouncy
Command Block : do command that are set when activated
Addition;
Hopper : take items from container on top of it and deliver it to container that connected to it; deactivate/disabled when powered
Honey Block : same as slime block but, not stick to slime block; slows down; disable jump; prevent fall damage
Target Block : *check reply*
Sculk Sensor : *check reply*
If there is something wrong or missing tell me
not the hero we deserved but the hero we needed
God bless you.
I'm going to screenshot all of this.
Thank you
I am eternally grateful 😭
The video has a good explanation but i have the brain capacity of a potato
Target Block: when hit with arrow, give output: output stronger the closer to the bullseye the arrow is; absorb redstone; movable
Sculk Sensor: produces output when hear sound; signal strength depends on volume; sound can't travel through wool
MY DEFINITION OF MINECRAFT. Minecraft is a engineering, architectural, programming, survival sandbox game.
I’m just trying to learn redstone so I can make a wolf cannon as a threat for not adding armor for wolves and launch innocent dogs to space.
Im sorry what?
