The black wheels looked fine, but seeing’s the chrome ones on it really did make the golf cart pop! I have an EZ Go cart that I would like to someday go crazy with it also. You are giving me some great ideas. Keep the videos coming!
Another great video - turned out great! One thing I noticed - those tires actually have directional lugs on the outside edge. The rear drivers side and front passenger side should be switched. If you look at the outside lugs you will see what I am talking about. Love the videos - always helpful.
They probably already do. My neighbor on the other side of the fence is cool, retired sheriff. I worked on his cart 2 nights ago. Good people, but I see where you coming from.
Have a 02 ds trying to decide between the spartan body and lift or paint and lift. I like that the spartan is a colored abs vs painted but the 1300 is $ on a 22 yo cart
Don’t look at it as the age of the cart. I built my personal ds on an 84 chassis. The only difference between my 84 chassis and a newer ds chassis is the rear fender wells are made out of aluminum. I used it to mount more stuff to it. I could care less the age of a cart. It’s not like a vehicle.
I love the build. I have a couple of questions for you. I have a 2005 CC DS IQ that got in not running condition. I did some troubleshooting on it and it looks like it has a bad controller in it. I am getting a new controller for it and it should be here in another week or so. I have a BigBattery Falcon Elite that I have in it. I am wondering if I need to bypass the OBC in it with the new battery? Also what lift kit did you put on this build? I am thinking about putting one on mine and I would have loved to have seen you put it on this one.
You dont necessarily have to remove the obc, its just there to tell the stock charger when to turn off. The new big battery lithium with come with its own charger and the batteries bms will tell the charger when to turn off. I used the SGC 6" kit on this cart. I have another one just like it coming up as I'm ordering parts now for another flip. Maybe I will show that kit, very simple install.
I raptor lined my TXT but bought the tint with the kit it was expensive, what kind of paint did you use for the tint? That cart looks great with the polished wheels.
Great turn out from a tired DS. I haven’t ever used raptor liner on anything, is that a kit? Cost on that? I have a local paint shop I typically use that’s around $4/500 if I remove the body.
I guess I dont understand why you would paint the roof black since it will absorb heat from the sun. I think I would of painted it white so the sun would reflect, and be a bit cooler. Thats one reason I would never buy a black car.
I see at 11:25 that you are talking about Chlorinating liquid. Is that the same as Chlorine bleach that you would use in the washing machine for clothes? I am wondering if I can use chlorine bleach that I already have in the laundry room and just water it down, rather than buying something specifically for this process.
???? watched way to many of these paint jobs......No one paints the under belly of these carts....you went to painting frame parts etc but not under belly ????....no adhesion primer ?? just checking here
Those black wheels look good on the white one. And I hate to say it, but the chrome look good on the red cart.
Nice easy build for that one!
I know they're old, but I think the DS is my favorite cart. One day I'm going to build a retro rocket.

I would go with polished chrome every time.
It came out beautifully, great flip
A great job!! I like the bandage on the finger!!That is the bandage I was raised with !
I keep those on hand in the shop LOL
Great work, Man U make it look easy!
Nice build. I like the use of old batteries for a paint stand haha
Whats lead really good for?
Awesome transformation
DS is definitely a nice looking cart once their all fixed up DS is what I have. NICE STRIP AND FLIP RYAN 👍🏾 keep up the excellent work brother
Turned out pretty decent and I liked the black steelies over those chrome ones.
Great job again Ryan.

Your best video yet. Thanks
That turned out nice! I was thinking you could vacuum up the paint but your neighbors may think you're crazy.

Man I wish you lived close to me to fix up my club car ds
Can’t blame the guy for liking the Furys more than the black wheels.
How well does spray paint hold up on the roof? I’m debating between buying an aftermarket black roof or spray painting the stock one
Bed liner spray? Looks good
I’m curious why you decided not to paint the metal trim on the dash? I was thinking of doing it on mine.
Need that Ryobi tip that spins.
Eat that paint right off 🍺👍🏼
The paint just flaked off. I know what you mean tho, I had one of those tips years ago.
How does that paint hold up on roof and what did you use
Hey what size lift was that and what web site did you order it from

It was some color my cousin had left over at his shop. He was about to throw it away because there wasnt much left and I grabbed it.
Do mine next!
What kind of paint was that?
What product did you use to spray the roof? Is it durable? Cart turned out pretty slick!
Rustoleum Satin.

amzn.to/3EUtWYj is $139 with gun and hardener, Does 2 carts.
How many bottles of raptor did it take to do the cart? Looking at doing my txt and don't know if I should get 2 or 4 bottled.
2 bottles
How fast did that red cart go?
15ish maybe. Just a stock cart.
what inch of lift kit did you.use??
6"

Same thing but stronger. 10%. Same thing people use to clean wooden fences or vinyl siding.
@@Fentertainmentwhen we used to clean pools, instead of the expensive pool store stuff we just use regular bleach. Helps just the same Acid-Base
Looks good man! I just did the same to my cart but white raptor liner! Here’s the link th-cam.com/video/Ei0Nemx_F1w/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Sls-mj_QuqELQo8I
I actually watched this a week ago. If its the same one with the v treads
@@Fentertainment yes sir!
