That's a coincidence. I just drank bone broth to "break" my ~42-hour fast (had a ribeye and Brussels sprouts on Christmas Eve.) Now I'm going out for a walk and coming in to do resistance training followed by another walk. Then I break my fast in earnest with 4 1/2 ounces of shrimp and a collagen shake. After the football game I'll have an oyster and parm reg omelet for dinner, then fast 12 hours for my blood draw tomorrow morning.

Gregory, I second your statement! 🙋‍♀️😉👏👏👏👏
I have been watching him for over 2 years now, and at the beginning I was "Oh my goodness what is all this mumbo jumbo??" 😳 Funny part is that I still can't pronounce those scientific Medical words, but I totally understand him!!! 😅 Thomas not only States Facts, he backs It Up by showing us the scientific study.
I actually pause and read through it, so YES Thomas I appreciate the extra work you put into your videos! 👍
I finally found one of his older videos where he explained he was a pharmaceutical representative so he has much information and knowledge more so than any MD I know.
I appreciate him Greatly as well, and wish him continued Blessings as he teaches and guides us to Greater Health!
p.s... Thomas, I'm finally going to check out Thrive Market as I had no idea they sold the apple cider vinegar.
I'd rather buy it from there and give you the credit, than drive to any other supermarket to buy my ACV. 😁🎉🎯

Always have some pure water nearby to rinse your mouth after drinking (or eating in general:) bc of the acid vs your teeth (enamel). And don't brush those for at least 30 min after drinking water with ACV (or eating in general) bc it still takes some time for the saliva to neutralize the residual acids attacking the dental enamel.

I was given acid blockers by my Gastrologist. I did some research and found out how effective ACV is for heartburn. I started using 1 tablespoon with 16oz of water. It’s been a miracle worker for me. I threw away the acid blockers which by the way caused me to gain weight quickly because without the acid you can’t break down the food properly. I quickly dropped weight and my heartburn issues are gone. My digestion improved dramatically . I take it before breakfast and dinner. If I eat lunch at home I will take it before my lunch. Make sure you rinse your mouth out right after drinking it. Do not brush your teeth until at least a half hour later or you will spread the acid on the enamel. Definitely works. I’m at my ideal weight and so happy I found out about ACV.

I found out I had a hiatal hernia when I got an endoscopy . The doctor prescribed me acid blockers which did help but also made me gain a lot of weight. Heartburn is caused by not having enough acid in the stomach so once I added the ACV it resolved my issue and I dropped 20 lbs.

modulation of the gluconeogenesis in the liver is through the pathway of the pancreas. GLP-1 is noticed by some receptors on the alpha-cells of the pancreas. they react by lowering the production of glucagon. and glucagon is the primary driver for gluconeogenesis in the liver.
and because you see the blood sugar level going down in the liver, the liver cells are the first to notice that via the AMPK sensor. good for the liver to release some of it's stored liver fat and start a bit of it's autophagy program.
this is why modern treatment of diabetes type 2 uses GLP-1 agonists to simply downregulate gluconeogenesis instead of dumping more and more insulin in the system.
but what is also important is the second hormone coming from the L-cells in the gut. that is PYY.
PYY addresses the brain and that reduces the hunger hormone ghrelin.
so, GLP-1 and PYY are the both sides of the same coin that belong together. one changing the fuel-mixture from glucose to fatty acids - which is also amino acid sparing. and the other is reducing hunger.

To prevent ACV from breaking down the enamel of your teeth.....you can also try rinsing your mouth immediately afterward with water. I personally dilute the ACV: 15 MLS with 1 glass of water, then immediately rinse my mouth with water, followed by a bit of toothpaste (mostly for the bicarb in it as it is a base) and work it around my mouth for a few minutes.

Vinegar is vinegar in the case of acetic acid. I like white vinegar in a lot of my dishes instead of ACV for that sharp cleaner flavor. Rice wine vinegar for Asian dishes and red wine vinegar and balsamic for salads. It's all basically the same acetic acid with slightly different flavors that work with different things. Use a STRAW for any acidic intake to protect your teeth. Also, adjust the dosage so it's safe, too much acid can strain your kidneys over a long period of time. A urine/blood test should be done to consider the health of your kidneys so you can reduce the dose or dilute it if needed. A couple of tablespoons worth of ACV or other vinegars before a major meal is enough, if you take more than dilute it in water. (Hint: never take more than two major meals in a day, usually 16 hours or more should be in a fasted state or taking very small amounts of food that are easy to digest and don't create massive blood sugar/insulin spikes).

If you add some Stevia to the vinegar it makes it taste lots better. Diluting the vinegar with more water helps, too.

Use room temperature water and chug it. You'll only get the nasty taste at the end.

@@joegt123 Thats what I do I keep a full water bottle on my counter that I use to mix my ACV. Once I'm done chugging my mixture of 8oz water to 2 TBSP of ACV I then do a quick rinse to get it off my teeth.

I take ACV in the morning and at night. I put 2T in my water bottle and I actually enjoy it. Been doing this for almost 10 years.

    Just started back on ACV.
I lost 50lbs in 45 days last time I tried it.
I take 1 full shot glass before bed.
Slam it down and rinse with full 16oz bottle of water.
    This cleans teeth right away.
After 1 week I started doing a full shot in morning.
    Curbed appetite big time.

Thomas do you think Apple cider vinegar can cause issues with the pancreas? I used to drink two tables spoon every day, one day I feel excruciating pain my pancreas I ate soup made with bone broth soup was very greasy after that I felt sharp pain in my pancreas. Now I'm fasting eating lots of vegetables to stop pain and reverse whatever it happens to my pancreas. But my wife keeps telling me my breath smells like apple cider vinegar even though I stop taking it more then three weeks.
