BMW E90 optical audio loop trouble shoot loop fix

Hi everyone this is one of my first technical car videos im uploading. This happened to me couple days ago and i was trouble shooting my audio system i was getting no sound. Thought it was my amp. So i looked in to it turns out it was my satellite radio unit must of burned out. This video is kind of the loop i bought online and how i fixed it but the right way without breaking the loop or zip tie. Everyone online gets the part but complain that it doesn’t plug n play. So everyone just cuts it up and zip ties it. Im here to correct it and tell you that it does work and its easier than everyone else does it. I hope the video helps anyone understand the system in the car. But if a follow up video is needed to explain how its done i can do that.

My radio isn’t working and the previous owner had that loop in the same place that you have it .. what else could my problem be??

i have the same on my 318 but i just cabel everything into my 1 din player insted as im sick of trouble shooting it :P
