- In this video, I give some simple beginner Mercy tips for playing with each Overwatch 2 hero! Little things like what's good to damage-boost or how you can position to help your team better. There's a good mixture of variety here!

have you make a mercy guide on the thresholds of diff heroes like how sojorn rail headshot kills 200hp and mcree kills tracer on headshots with it
Another tip with sigma: when your sigma ults, if you predict someone is about to throw a rock or spear to stun him out the ult it might be worth tanking the stun for him like the phara tip.
i watched our sig get slept out of THREE ULTS, to the point where i just went and killed her myself when he was at 95 again

Moira has 3 voicelines for when she runs out of resources btw:
- I cannot heal you yet.
- I must recharge. Hold on.
- Need a moment to recharge.

Dmg boosting Moira isn't the worst idea too when you know shes low on regenerating her heals, it helps her get back to pumping heals faster
also pocketing her for coal goes hard!

The doomfist tip is actually sooo good, as a doomfist main you have no idea how many times I punch back into cover just to have my mercy dash towards the position I was straight into the frontline and get annihilated 💀

I don't care that Brig isn't good pocket target. It's just so fun playing backline assasin Poket Brig. It works surprisingly well, cause enemies cannot kill Brig because of Inspire+Shield+Mercy heals and Mercy because of Inspire+Mobility+Repair packs (on my skill level). Also damage boosted Brig's combo (Bash, Primary, Whipshot) can delete 200hp hero if they don't get healing
i love this but I also know that my toxic trait is going absolutely feral on Brig and I really shouldn't be rewarded for it 😂
A tips with sym : you can combo tp rez. Your sym just need to put the tp in the 5m rez range (the shortest distance tp can be from each other) on the soul and you can rez and tp with mercy without canceling the rez. I do it with my mate and it work incredibly well for risky rez.
We did it in front of a sigma who tried to rock him while he was rezing but since he used tp the rock don't touched him and the rez worked.

Hey Niandra! Just wanted you to know that thanks to your videos, my average healing has increased from about 11k to 15k per game, and my average damage boost has gone from around 800 to 2,200 per game!

I know at least one of Moiras other "out of juice" lines is "I need to recharge." If I'm on comms, I almost always try to call out that our Moira has low heals if she doesn't, since the team sometimes doesn't hear her voiceline and will W forward without a care.

i love how in your videos, when we're in a match with a questionable teammate you teach us how to adjust our gameplay to play with and around the bad teammate if they can't pick up and get better thruout the match.

Gorgeous video, especially on the Tanks given OV2's 1 Tank per team setup. It's hard not to instinctively damage boost them all willy nilly when there are often better targets for you to be focusing on throughout the match.

your guides help a lot! i didn't realize how far i'd come playing mercy until i played an all mercy no limits game earlier and starting noticing certain teammates were healing full health allies/not scooching around availible cover during rez and thinking "oh! i only know to do that stuff because of niandra!"

As a sombra main, the only time you should pocket a sombra is if she's making things happen, and she's playing with the team, If she's flanking don't bother pocketing her you'll get her killed and yourself. Sombra can escape any time she wants, you can't. It is easy to feel a sombra out, if she's hitting her shots, you'll know it when you heal/damage boost her, if she's clearly struggling to hit shots, or is just ineffective in general you should not be pocketing her at all.

Just wanted to point out that Sojourn doesn't one shot anymore on purpose, it's not a bug but a nerf. So yeah, that will not be getting patched xD
When I'm playing mercy & I get a lucio that wont swap, I'll sometimes swap to a support that's more optimal but then half the time that same lucio will instapick mercy the second I'm swapped off. Moments that make me want to punch a hole through the monitor :' ]
I have heard some ppl try to make ppl get off mercy by picking lucio or zen but it's a weird concept to me because if I instantly pick mercy it's obvious I have high intentions of forcing her into any situation. I wish ppl would just ask to play her if they want her, I will just flex moira and usually win as her if they play their one trick hero or whatever. I'm also playing in GM and don't really think playing Mercy and lucio is really bad as long as the lucio isn't throwing lol.

Good Wintons will also incorporate combos with their leap damage, getting in a quick melee before landing and very good Wintons can do the big zap mid leap.
Something I wanted to add about baptiste and moira is that w baptiste it’s pretty worth dmg boosting him when he ults cuz he also tries to do dmg and bap alone can burst down enemies really quick even tanks, with Moira it’s really great to keep up dmg boost all the time cuz Moira’s sort of utility thing is that she can do so much heal that u don’t really need to focus much on mercy’s healing and Moira’s dmg is extremely easy so dmg boosting her while she tries to gather her resources is worth it

As a sombra main, yesterday I played with a mercy. Once she saw I was doing the most damage and picks, she quickly enabled me, anytime I hacked she would rush to me and boost, and I would just melt, and since I knew she was playing with me my literal guardian angel I used my tp super aggressive to just switch places mid fight but never leave. She was also able to jump around cause of that, pretty fun, I wish more mercy players did that.
Dmg boost during combat and then healing during downtime when possible means double ult charge, which can make a huge difference in getting your ult on time.
Also, on the Ana thing, had a match with a Hog who would not let his own health get low enough that he couldn't self heal to max, and the guy knew every healthpack on the map. This meant I was sharing dps with the Ana, which I was not used to so I ended up having to damage boost the Ana just to get her ult up to make up for stealing most of the healing on the dps.

Sojourn not one shotting will not get patched, it's meant to be like that with dmg fall off
I have a question about Cassidy though. Is it really worth body blocking his ult because as of OW2 he gets 40% damage reduction when using high noon and he has more hp than mercy too so surely it's safer to heal him through it if he starts to take damage right?
Some things I didn't see mentioned that I'd like to add:
Damage boosting Sojourn increases the charge she earns for her secondary fire as well as damage dealt
Damage boosting Sigma during his ult makes it so the lift+2 orbs is a kill combo on a squishy
If it looks like brig can kill a squishy diving her boosting her makes the bash+swing+whipshot a kill combo
Cassidy could still be stunned/sleeped tho
i finally got used to toggle beam off and it's improved my dmg boost stats loads

Another suggestion with sym (which should be obvious but) heal her when her beam is weak so she can stay in a fight and charge up her beam stronger then switch over to damage boost.
You're really right about dedicated Lucio players. There can be zero reason for them to stay on Lucio and they'll still be on Lucio. Bad map? Bad comp? Nobody on the enemy team they can target? Does not matter, they will not swap.
I'll be honest though, and this might just be me, but as a old-timer with the ability to play any support (not to equal levels obviously) and zero effs left for the opinions of my tanks and DPS, I'll support whatever the other player wants to do as long as they're enjoying doing it and not making my life hard in the process. I'm here to support my fellow supports is what I'm saying, and everyone else only as a byproduct lmao

re: Sombra, please heal your Sombra even when they are invis. yes, they COULD go get a health kit, but that is time spent outside of the fight. if they are clearly on the flank, sure, don't randomly GA to them and heal them, but if its in the middle of the fight, just heal them. sometimes they stay invisible just for the mobility and not necessarily because they're trying to be invisible.
I've watched so many vods of sombras and they just don't get healed for AGES and its heartbreaking. dont abandon them and assume they should take care of themselves. they're still on your team so it's still your job to help them. ignore them if they flame you for it because you should always be ignoring flamers in the first place.
Having a mercy pocket can make sure that Ball gets enough damage to finish someone off also Ball retreats when in danger make sure to not folow a Ball into combat since he rather have the mercy save and sound near a dps

I blinked and the Zarya tip was over.
Widow can 1-shot a Tracer with a full-charge damage-boosted scoped bodyshot, so I often try to push the blue beam extra-hard if she’s getting approached by a Tracer and knows it.
Blue beam on Anna increases her healing as well so it doesn't hurt to let her take over while you buff her for a quick nano

I actually really like soft pocketing a tracer in ow 2 because the new ga movement makes it much easier to keep up with her and a competent tracer MELTS enemies fast when damage boosted. And what's better than harmony orb's 30 heal per sec? Mercy's 50 hehe
