I've never had a car myself so I can't help with the costs including car and and insurance unfortunately. According to the national registry you will need a minimum income of 239.895 ISK a month to live in Iceland, although that sounds a bit low to me! I'd say realistically you'd want to have at least 300-350.000 ISK per month, but it all depends on weather you'll be renting, buying a home with a mortgage, or buying a home outright. Omg such expensive in india with the amount you are spending for a month one poor family can spend for one or two years in small towns.
That a big difference in price! Iceland is a very expensive country
