I have made cinnamon rolls from scratch, 5 or 6 times now and when it comes to dough recipes that need to rise, I've only had success once or twice. I tried your recipe tonight and they came out PERFECT. They rose perfectly! I've never had that happen before! Then when they came out of the oven, the texture was perfect. No crusty, over-browning, just a perfect, soft fluffy texture, through and through. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. The only change I made was to the filling. I just added a little more butter/sugar/cinnamon to have a thicker layer. You are a Godsend!
I am 13 years old. I made these with my sister using half of the quantity. I got 12 medium size cinnamon rolls. They turned out super amazing. The top is crispy and crunchy. Inside is soft,fluffy and caramelized.The exact same way, how I wanted them to be. And the smell was absolutely amazing. The best part is tasting. Taste was incredible. I made them today and I'm very impressed. The dough is very fluffy and not overly sweet. They were very fast to make as the first rise is only 10 mn...the dough was very easy to handle. The only thing I changed is the yeast, I used DRY INSTANT YEAST...the equivalent is 1-3/4 teaspoons.. They rose nicely in the oven. I will use this recipe from now on. 👍👍

Just made these and they are amazing, so fluffy! Probably the easiest yeast dough I've recreated yet. Had to use a different filling though because I couldn't get hold of packed sugar but it still turned out great. 😊
Just finished baking a batch of these cinnamon rolls! I followed the recipe exactly (except I used my standing mixer to kneed the dough, it was easy to follow and came together with no problems. My cinnamon rolls baked for 20 mins and came out slightly crisp on the outside while soft and pillowy on the inside. Would definitely make these again but add a little vanilla to the dough as well as make 1.5x the cinnamon-sugar filling. Felt like it could do with a bit more filling but that's obviously a personal preference.

@@karinaa9289 if I remembered correctly the recipe said that you could add up to 1/4 cup extra which I believed I added. But yes my dough was very soft and sticky but I would say I had issues rolling it out once you flour or oil your surface you should be good to go! Hope this helps.

I made these and filled them with Nutella 😍 So good! I brushed the buns with a simple syrup after they were done baking. The recipe made so many buns so I just stored them in plastic bags. The next day I reheated one in the microwave for 15 seconds and it was still as soft as ever! However, it was such a hassle to get clean cuts because I overfilled mine 😅 My dough was a tad bit too sticky as well, but that was my own fault! I was afraid that the buns would turn out tough if I were to add more flour.

The dough i made with this recipe was verrrry watery. I had to add quite a bit of flour but it turned out fantastic!

I made these and filled them with Nutella 😍 So good! I brushed the buns with a simple syrup after they were done baking. The recipe made so many buns so I just stored them in plastic bags. The next day I reheated one in the microwave for 15 seconds and it was still as soft as ever! However, it was such a hassle to get clean cuts because I overfilled mine 😅 My dough was a tad bit too sticky as well, but that was my own fault! I was afraid that the buns would turn out tough if I were to add more flour.
