L28 👍, another interesting and fascinating video, love your enthusiasm to try all ☺️👍, your vlogs are so original, I watch with a hope you grow from strength to strength. Great share, stay blessed and safe, your friend Traveller MIA 🇬🇧. Oh lest I forget, it was nice to see others chatting in your video it offers a different dynamic, great idea 👌
Thank you so much, and it really does bring a completely new feeling to have more people in the video. Ah, if only I could be more of an extrovert and go for the whole "talking to locals" approach that many have. But maybe I can learn :) Hope you have a wonderful week!

Thanks man! Great to see you again - I hate when that dull work stuff takes away from precious Internet time... It was a really fun day! Sooo much food though in a single day...
That's so cool that you knew about the place! But Aifur really is awesome, so it's understandable.. Haha, I showed my gf the video and she was immediately like "Okay, so when are we two going back to Aifur again?"
@@SimpleWildLiving It's quite hidden away isn't it? A sure case of more than meets the eyes, as soon as you enter. I can't vouch for the food quality (since I'm just a layman) but the experience is great!
This video was a lot of fun to do and will be repeated some day. Maybe in the Netherlands. I hear from Are we there yet that they have great food....😀😜
Haha, I think there's more to Dutch food! I definitely look forward to making an Amsterdam (or another city) food tour later on! This was such a fun day in Stockholm :)
Oh man!!! Now I want to visit Stockholm again soon! I was only there for one full day since I was on a cruise. I had plans to go to the Viking themed restaurant too but we were on our way to Tallinn, Estonia by the time it opened. By the way I love Kalles! Lol Did your Dutch friends mention about their raw soused herring known as “maatjesharing” in the Netherlands? The game meat looked delicious too!!! I love deer meat!
I think he mentioned the haring, but they were too busy laughing at me for hating Kalles :P And too bad that you missed the Viking restaurant! That one is actually really really nice. And we have a pirate themed restaurant too.. And a medieval restaurant with mead and stuff... But next time for sure then eh :D
@@Joe-eg7ml Noooo! What kind of horrible torture is that?! Actually it all sounds really good as long as you skip the Kalles! That's just plain nasty...
I thought most Swedes liked Kalles. I’m English and love it! That Viking restaurant looks good, going to have to try that. We went to a Viking restaurant many years ago in Tivoli Gardens in Denmark. They served a massive skewer (like a sword) with beef, pork, lamb, goose, duck and chicken on if I remember correctly. It was amazing, we went back again a couple of nights later.
Haha, I guess I'm not quite a typical Swede... It really was awful! But yeah, I love Aifur - and I'm already making plans to go there again. But the one in Copenhagen sounds great too... I couldn't find which one it is from a quick googling but I'll try some more!
Haha, a special day change for a special collab. It was a really fun day but the viking restaurant was my top thing for sure. I'm definitely going back soon. And yeah, you bloody Dutch giants are all over the place! :D
Honestly... I would go to that Viking theme restaurant but simultaneously I wouldn't want to be THAT tourist haha. It also just freaked me out with how loud that woman was when she was leading that group to a toast..
@@ThreeStarVagabond Let's just say i thought my friend were loyal but they started "picking" on me for it, although who needs friends when you have kaviar right? Right?...
Noo, some Dutch food is wonderful. Bitterballen, mmm.. But yeah, that was the biggest pastry I've ever seen! I was pretty shocked when I saw the size of it. "No.. No, this is not typically Swedish.."
@@ThreeStarVagabond Bitterballen! 🤣 some high quality food… I forgot about that! You can by it “out of the wall” from a vending machine, a pure cultural experience! I take back what I said.

I had a housemate that would go to Viking events, they would camp and eat just the way Viking would. If you said anything that was just a myth about Viking he would correct you, he was 6ft 7in so you don't want to argue with him. lol actually he was too nice to fight anyone.

I wish I could afford fish. I live 6,000 above sea level in a state of USA. I cant imagine fresh fish! Outrageously expensive or we pay so much for a license to try to fish in lakes that even "if" I was to catch one its not worth it.

Are you slightly deranged or something? If you have watched this video you should realize that I'm the furthest things from a food expert there is - I have the palate of a child. However, there's a simple reason for that mistake: false friends; when words in one language sound similar to others but in reality are very dissimilar. I.e älg / elk. So I do apologize for that!
Very beautiful upload again. so nice presentation from you about foods there. Thanks so much. All the best to you
