In this tutorial, part 1 of how to restore a wooden bench for outdoors, I show you how to make a waterproof protective cover. I start with the cover, so I can leave the bench outside whilst going through the different processes in restoration. I also talk about different fabrics and threads you can use as well as other tips in constructing the cover.
