It's a curse upon every Kenyan enjoying the freedom that was fiercely fought for by our forgotten heroes and heroines and yet we have seen shocking living conditions their families was left in it. I will lie down for them to walk on my back like a red carpet. How could we Kenyans go to sleep with our stomachs full yet these families are languishing in poverty. Wake up Kenyans and joine hands together in the spirit of harambee and help the for God sake and recognize them. I am ready to give my whole month wage to help support these forgotten families.

They have the guile to actually give empty promises and continue living their lives without a care in the world, and in intoxicating wealth! I really felt it for Baimungi and his family. He had so much trust in people who turned out to be worse than the colonialists he was fighting against.

Those who will not make it can send their donations. It should be well adverised in all the Meru FM & TV stations. That way we will get a chance to fundraise for the family and to receive further support from well wishers I being one of them. So sad that the family has been neglected over the years.

On pintrest I saw a post on black panther that said the female band(that Lupita was in) is partially based on a real life women only band of terminators from Sub Saharan Africa who were protecting their king_that is BAIMUNGI their original name was N'nonmitons but Europeans called them Dahomey Amazons. What!!! I've just discovered they were Kenyans. Ever heard of Dahomey Amazons? They were ones considered the most feared women in the world. So they were Kenyans. They remain the only documented female band of terminators but I've just now realized at 6:00 that Baimungi is had an army of 80 women. I'm amazed that I'm learning such a beautiful peace of history from youtube and as a 21year old. I'm really shocked guys yaani they is so much we need to know about our country has a very rich heritage let's own it. I adore those women so much that I shared that post on my Instagram feed

This is a sad, sad story. It is unfortunate that the very people who fought for our independence are the ones living in abject poverty, while the traitors enjoy what was meant for them. Who will help this family??? The question of land in this country is a grave, grave matter that tears apart even families. For the family of a country's hero to be taken round in circles like this... it is such a big shame.
