- How did a homeless man in America end up owning one of the biggest organic farms in Kenya?
Kunga Kihohia is not your ordinary farmer. Having worked in some of the biggest companies in America grossing over 5 Million shillings a year, he followed the wrong path and found himself drunk, overweight and homeless.
But deep down, he knew the only place his life could take a different turn was his Father's homeland Kenya and so he came back determined to start a fresh.
Today, he owns Back to Nature Organic farm in Murang'a.

Becoming homeless in America 🇺🇸 is so EASY than most think. I thank God that I have been able to live in Los Angeles (this is literally the HOMELESS CAPITOL IN THE WORLD) for well over a decade and have clothes on my back, a roof over my head and food on my table whenever I want. I pray that whoever is reading this is BLESSED and that God is faithful and that He is providing for you. This man’s story is really refreshing. Thank you for sharing his story with us, Lynn!

That soil oozes fertility. I am not an African, but I am planning to settle in Africa in the very near future. I have bought some land , is looking forward to establishing myself as a farmer there. Farming is good therapy.

That's true my brother. I was a senior person in a very prestigious parastatal and had worked there for 14 years but had to leave when the place became too small for me. Most of the Kenyans I know here are very respected.

The grass is not always greener on the other side. Watching from Canada and organic food here cost an arm and a leg they feed us GMOs and all the garbage man made meats and stuff. We have such short growing season with crazy winters. My dream is to move back to Africa get a piece of land have some farm animals, fruit trees and live off the grid a self sustaining lifestyle. Life in the diaspora is not what you always thing there are so many challenges you have to overcome to make it. This is what many Africans lacked for so long. Loving our countries (and the entire continent as a whole) and make sure we develop them the same way those developed countries were developed by their own patriotic individuals. I truly loved this interview and keep it up guys.

I love his simplicity of life, watching him with wode maya was breathtaking.yes Diaspora can show you kanyoni wa ngethe.... Africa is a good place..will not hesitate being home too some years ...but ofcourse one need a plan and God guidance.
