I think the pride comes from burning neutral Vulpera Caravans, murdering them in droves and enslaving those that that they didn't murder. Yeah, they will bring pride and 'honor' to the Alliance.

Shadowdragon as soon as I reached 55 on a Blood Elf Hunter I made a Death Knight and loved hearing the intro. Especially after grinding to get the class unlocked.
I started playing about a year into Cata (I was like 10 and my parents played), I just spent my time levelling things to 60 for the Alliance without looms, and boy is it sure a good memory. The Night Elf zone, the Human zone, even the Death Knight zone we're all amazing to savor. I sure miss those times.

I mean to be fair: your character starts at classic WoW storyline (depending on level, i.e. hero classes), so Varian is still alive. Once you hit 100 and begin Legion content, the timeline for Varian closes, whilst Garrosh being Warchief ends at 90, and Vol'Jin ends at 100, then Sylvannas begins at 100 to present.

The new intros are fresh and good but the old ones (Vanilla - Cataclysm) have their charm and they are still enjoyable. However the new allied races have very cool and overpowered abilities, the old races could get little reworks so they don't feel weaker. Also my Blood Elf got racial nerf so it steals buffs instead of aoe silencing.

Triforce24 can always find a narrator with a similar voice or could do a good impression. Wonder if they gave him a tribute in the game, like maybe a scribe in a neutral location that reads the narrations out and you could find him reading.
It's all because of the awesome narrator which made every new adventure feel like Lord of the Rings. Blizz replaced him with important NPCs and I think it's a nice idea but I agree - the old intros are better.
Watching Teldrassil hurts. I still remember my first day playing WoW. I really loved that place, loved doing the questline and would go back to Darnassus from time to time to just chill. I look forward to smacking Sylvanas on the face if/when the time comes, even though she is still one of my favorite Warcraft characters.
I like the allied races and all. But I miss starting zones. Even just the basic 1-5 areas like northshire Abbey or echo isles. I hope they still make regular races after this expansion and it's not all allied races. They should also update the old race intros to be more like the newer ones. Use their leaders voice actor to give the intro.

Since their is like 12 or more races to choose from per alliance or horde. You should get 20 slots for characters, so you can play for each race per server instead of just 10. Kinda impossible to play each race without having to delete a character to play a new 1 or going to a new server to unlock them & then being able to play them. But then you can't play with your friends or they would have to join the new server, too. Just a thought.

I do remember Draenei and Worgen as at the time they were the newest before the Pandaren came. What are the difference between the Night Elves and Nightborne Elves?
The Nightborne came into the game in Legion. They're basically Night Elves who were locked away in their city for thousands of years. When the Broken Isles emerged, the other Night Elves were jerks to them, but the Blood Elves saw in them kindred spirits and helped them get over their own mana addiction. They joined the Horde out of gratitude to their new friends (and their leader later marries the Blood Elf regent lord).

First problem with new allies races is the dances. They are far to short compared to others. That needs to be fixed. Really wanted a skinny KT human choice. Not all of us are into the overly big humans. It does not even look like muscle, it looks like fat. Does not seem right to me. I’d expect them to be big with muscle, not just fat for fats sake. Zandalari got clear muscle that looks amazing on them. KT humans need to be more clear muscle and less just fat.
Thank you for the time you put into the game for these, xLetalis. I wanted to get the Kul Tirans but when I realized it was just the larger models I lost all interest. Wanted the thin frame for rogues/mages/locks etc. Because the larger model for the men is fucking atrocious- but that seems to be Blizzard's kick. All the women are cute or attractive- men look like they just stepped out of the Sahara after a four year trip. Clearly I made the right choice sticking with the Horde. Zandalar Forever!

Old races' intro are now really bad. Some need renarrations from their character's voice actors, some needs complete changes, especially that many of these claims are already outdated. I mean for example: *Death Knight:* Pure bullshit now. Lich king is DEAD while more and more DKs keep getting revived like you did with Nazgrim. Needs COMPLETE story rewamp with Darion. *Human:* Varian is dead, Anduin is in charge. *Orc:* Thrall is nowhere and Garrosh is dead, we had Vol'Jin as Warchief and he is dead too. *Dwarf:* Magni is already revived and now he is the Speaker of Azeroth. *Undead:* Lich King is long dead and Varimathras killed on Argus. Sylvanas is now Warchief needs to prove nothing, also she ordered Putress to execute the plague at Wrathgate. *Night Elf:* Malfurion heals nothing on Teldrassil since Teldrassil is ruined, he is fighting against the Horde on Darkshore. *Tauren:* Cairne is long dead, Garrosh and Baine repelled the Grimtotem's attack, Baine is Chieftain for a long time. *Troll:* Thrall again mentioned as a Warchief and after that Garrosh too. *Gnome:* Nothing to say here actually only that Gelbin is dead now in 8.1 and needs renarration. *Blood Elf:* Nothing, only renarration from Lor'Themar. *Draenei:* Velen ALWAYS sees idiotic visions what he accepted were foolish to Illidan at the end of Antorus. *Goblin, Worgen & Pandaren:* Since these happened in the past and it cannot happen again it's ok, just need renarration from Gallywix and Greymane.
The more I look at allied races the more disappointed in them I am. I thought the system was there to add races we've always wanted, just without the work of dedicating whole starter zones to them... But instead they're just different versions of already playable races. Pretty much every allied race added should've just been customization options for their original races :/
I swear, the newest writers should be required to AT LEAST watch the intros for the races. Forsaken: Unbeknownst to Sylvanas, Putricide and his demonic ally Varimathras unleashed the Blight on their allies. Writers: Yeah, Sylvanas totally knew about what they were doing and even supported it, that was the plan from the start, we swear. A sworn enemy of the Light? Tell me how the High elves that basically were disgusted by the blood elves for using fel will tolerate blood elves that are using something even worse? Most Warlocks that are using Fel are Crazy, Sick in the Head, Corrupted but still know who is a friend and who is an enemy. Shadow Priests use the void but not to such extent and yet most of them get mad from the constant wispers they hear. The more Shadow they use the more unstable they become... but Void Elves... Void Elves are "different" for some reason. And how long Lor'Themar is going to remain a regent? A regent for what? The Sunstrider dynasty is dead a long time ago. Make him a King, give him a Queen or make the blood elves discover a surviving untained member of the Sunstrider family... maybe a child of Kael'Thas that he created when he was in exile? Blood elf lore = stagnation. Also 0:51 EXTRA THICC!!!

Damn when I stopped playing in cata there were only 10 races. The kul tiran variation and other troll variants are crazy. I missed all the other xpacs so have no idea where these other races come into play except for the Zandalar trolls.

First problem with new allies races is the dances. They are far to short compared to others. That needs to be fixed.
Really wanted a skinny KT human choice. Not all of us are into the overly big humans. It does not even look like muscle, it looks like fat. Does not seem right to me. I’d expect them to be big with muscle, not just fat for fats sake. Zandalari got clear muscle that looks amazing on them. KT humans need to be more clear muscle and less just fat.

I wanted to get the Kul Tirans but when I realized it was just the larger models I lost all interest. Wanted the thin frame for rogues/mages/locks etc. Because the larger model for the men is fucking atrocious- but that seems to be Blizzard's kick. All the women are cute or attractive- men look like they just stepped out of the Sahara after a four year trip.
Clearly I made the right choice sticking with the Horde. Zandalar Forever!

orcs and humans needs new correct intros and the trolls need new intro and starting quests since the death of Vol'jin and Varian and Sylvanas' corruption of the Horde's honor

Old races' intro are now really bad. Some need renarrations from their character's voice actors, some needs complete changes, especially that many of these claims are already outdated. I mean for example:
*Death Knight:* Pure bullshit now. Lich king is DEAD while more and more DKs keep getting revived like you did with Nazgrim. Needs COMPLETE story rewamp with Darion.
*Human:* Varian is dead, Anduin is in charge.
*Orc:* Thrall is nowhere and Garrosh is dead, we had Vol'Jin as Warchief and he is dead too.
*Dwarf:* Magni is already revived and now he is the Speaker of Azeroth.
*Undead:* Lich King is long dead and Varimathras killed on Argus. Sylvanas is now Warchief needs to prove nothing, also she ordered Putress to execute the plague at Wrathgate.
*Night Elf:* Malfurion heals nothing on Teldrassil since Teldrassil is ruined, he is fighting against the Horde on Darkshore.
*Tauren:* Cairne is long dead, Garrosh and Baine repelled the Grimtotem's attack, Baine is Chieftain for a long time.
*Troll:* Thrall again mentioned as a Warchief and after that Garrosh too.
*Gnome:* Nothing to say here actually only that Gelbin is dead now in 8.1 and needs renarration.
*Blood Elf:* Nothing, only renarration from Lor'Themar.
*Draenei:* Velen ALWAYS sees idiotic visions what he accepted were foolish to Illidan at the end of Antorus.
*Goblin, Worgen & Pandaren:* Since these happened in the past and it cannot happen again it's ok, just need renarration from Gallywix and Greymane.
Mekatorque is not dead just Frozen

The more I look at allied races the more disappointed in them I am. I thought the system was there to add races we've always wanted, just without the work of dedicating whole starter zones to them... But instead they're just different versions of already playable races. Pretty much every allied race added should've just been customization options for their original races :/

I swear, the newest writers should be required to AT LEAST watch the intros for the races. Forsaken: Unbeknownst to Sylvanas, Putricide and his demonic ally Varimathras unleashed the Blight on their allies.

Most Warlocks that are using Fel are Crazy, Sick in the Head, Corrupted but still know who is a friend and who is an enemy.
Shadow Priests use the void but not to such extent and yet most of them get mad from the constant wispers they hear. The more Shadow they use the more unstable they become... but Void Elves... Void Elves are "different" for some reason.
And how long Lor'Themar is going to remain a regent? A regent for what? The Sunstrider dynasty is dead a long time ago. Make him a King, give him a Queen or make the blood elves discover a surviving untained member of the Sunstrider family... maybe a child of Kael'Thas that he created when he was in exile? Blood elf lore = stagnation.
