Bro this game was so ahead of its time in terms of how much you could interact with the world and how amazing exploration was. I'm shocked by how much I remember since way back then. Childhood
It always fascinated me just how ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE the Buccaneer is. It really showed just what sort of force the robo-pirates where and how they managed to win so easily.
Even the size of the ship and crater valley on the world, wher the Tory takes, place, though most of the time was on the crater sides, cliff sides and surrounding shores and jungle where the stone and fire temple was,etc
This is a great bossfight and the music makes it even better. I like to think Razorbeard was killed by the Hoodlums in Rayman 3, that's why we see his lifeless body used as a statue in the hoodlum headquarters along with some other pirates.
This was one of my favorite games as a child. I got to the final level and for some reason the game just stopped buffering before I could even see what playing against the final boss was like. Incredibly frustrating. So, like 20 years have passed and I thought of it today and I found this. It brought back so many nice memories. Thank you for uploading this! Greetings from Argentina.
@@lvsoad22 I’ve played a sizable number of games Even some old school Mega Man games This boss was pretty challenging for me primarily because the controls were a bit of a pain to configure
I am from China, This is the besy game for my childhood, I still remember I bought a new ram for this game when I was in elementary school. We also play armymen and fifa, these games are all the topic we kids talked about after class, we always talk about how to get hidden lums and cages... Sweet memories..
The game didn't save your progress when you died in the final battle level, making this robot man a ninghrmare;specially if you played this on Nintendo DS 🫥
Well I believe the PS1, PS2 versions are some kind of a remake of the game, I remember reading that on some place but I don't remember what kind of media is it
@@Pokaroquai PS1 ver. is more like a truncated version of the game, cuz it's graphics are less beautiful and some levels disappeared(for some reason). PS2 ver. is a remake, although it also doesn't have some levels, but has enhanced graphics and open world

I love the theme of Grolgoth, It's sounds so badass with that great electric guitar.
This is genuinely one of the most challenging and tense boss fights in gaming history
Oh boy you'll better see the final boss in Rayman 3, they made it real tough
@@Pokaroquai I played it and it’s good in it’s own right but it’s not as challenging as this one
I think you haven't played many games

top 3 hardest bosses ever
My heart melts every time the little shell happily runs around Rayman and lifts him on his back, like they’re old friends lol.
This game still gives me the feels to this day

I remember playing this on the nintendo 3Ds, such good nostalgia
The fact that the shell attended Rayman's funeral shows how friendly the shells are in spite of being creations of the robo-pirates.
I still can't believe this came out in 1999 lol It still holds up as one of the best all these years later.
This game is a masterpiece.
RAYMANNN omg i love this quote of clark

Did you like that part?
One of the greatest ending's of all time
Two things Mr dark and razorbeard have in common is they both got away and were hinted at returning in the end credits
And they never came back with the milk, just like Rayman 4 :')
@@SnevilGrey Mr Dark came back in Rayman Mini. Also Razorbeard came back if you count Rayman M/Arena/Rush and the GBA version of Rayman 3.
@@robonaught Yeahhh. They came back with spoiled milk.
One of the beast game i ever play.

I remember doing that glitch in this battle to where you could get infinite shots during the second phase of the final battle.
That's a secret, not a glitch
I took me days to beat him. i was like 4-5 years old. insane
Hmm yes lore of Rayman 2
He said 'NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!" but you didn't listen
and still proceed dropping him into the lava. That's not very nice
I wouldn't say victory is complete. Razor beard gets away
The camera in this fight gives me a headache
Love this game. Hate the last two levels though. Absolutely shite ending to an absolutely fantastic platformer.

On PC this is literally only luck
All i can say is git gud
7:55
Rayman = Eddie Valiant
Globox = Roger Rabbit
Ly the Fairy = Jessica Rabbit
Admiral Razorbeard = Judge Doom
lol
I don't remember the final boss being like this. Is this not the PS1 version?
idk, it is the one you can buy in the ubisoft store.
