For anyone wondering: this level is 100% official, technically it's not a scrapped mingame because it's a gamecube exclusive and were supposed to unlock it after finishing Rayman 3 on the GBA and connecting it to the GC but apparently some values didn't match between the 2 (an error of Ubisoft Shangai, that created the gsmecube minigames) and it's now impossible to unlock it, which is why in the gamecube minigame list there's a blank space which you can't unlock.
It’s because the final level in Rayman 3 GBA has a glitch that makes it not save the progress after you beat it. When you replay your save file it still says you need to beat the final boss because the level text is still white and not yellow
@@HruMan360 damn, 2 months does make a difference. i have recently replayed the first game, and I think that eat at joe's is actually easy, including the fish part, you just have to punch and quickly crouch down so the fist gets to the fish, once you know that it's not such a problem
@@LuckyLeverVIEJO I'd say that if you just want to complete the level, Eat at Joe's harder but Picture City has Cages hidden in the worst spots (I still can't consistenly beat the fish part without losing 3-5 times)
To think I wasted all that time as a kid trying to unlock that last minigame with 100% scores and never could manage to get 100%, it would've amounted to nothing in the end
i am pretty sure if you get a good enough score in each area, you can see unused stuff, in the final boss area (not where you fight it but it is where you are before it, a door would open and open and you could see stuff, maybe not that much stuff but still something, but yeah sorry you spent that time

So far no one has unlocked it without them. 2D Madness is unlocked by connecting a Rayman 3 GBA cartridge with all cages, and 2D Nightmare is meant to be unlocked by connecting a Rayman 3 GBA cartridge with all levels unlocked, however the value in memory on the GBA when all levels are unlocked is 1 below the value that the GameCube looks for when unlocking 2D Nightmare. Whether there is a way to raise this value is unknown but it seems unlikely.

it was supposed to be unlocked by using a completed save of the gba version of rayman 3 linked to the gamecube. however when completing the final level the cartridge doesn't update. it was discovered only in 2023 that you could access it using a modified file of the gba game (or by using hacks on the gamecube game)
i wish they kept the old style i liked the first game way more than these.. they got rid of that beautiful surreal ethereal atmosphere and made it all weird
@@jonahabenhaim12233 was good looking, and a great game. But not a Rayman game. Origins was closer to the original Rayman and better for that reason imo.

You can get this level on PS2, Xbox and PC tho, but it's very hard because you have to 100% Complete the game

There was another Rayman game with combat fatigues. It was an isometric platformer on the GBA called Hoodlum's Revenge. ...It wasn't good.
