I went to the Happy Together Tour to see the Turtles. But to my surprise, the Cowsills were the best act. Paul Cowsills energy got my attention. He really made the show.
I went to this show in Grand Junction CO just for something to do and was blown away. The Cowsills opened the show and stole it. Also dug the Vogues and Classics IV. Good times.
I too had an abusive father verbally when he would drink alcohol after the Navy he never physically abused us but as my older brother got older he started it’s good to see that they fought all the trauma and turmoil
I hope you like it. It's very much like great pop/rock from when I was growing up years ago. I ordered mine from Amazon. I like supporting this band....super talented !@@ursafan40
The audience was great. It was a full house. You also have to consider the the average age of the audience members was around 70. I was one of the youngest there and I'm 47!
I love these beautiful souls. Through the tragic abuse they endured, they can still smile and love. Amazing people. Paul is so fun to watch and keeps that big smile. ❤
Harkens back to an age of analog recording, no auto-tune and of fresh new ideas and new music genres....just raw talent and songwriting...the Cowsills are timeless!
Eu tinha 9 anos quando ouvi essa musica na TV, naquela época , não tinha problemas de autoria, e tocava na TV, ah que saudade, que honra dessas pessoas poder assistir ao vivo essa banda.
This is one of the families/bands I wish I could have seen live in their hay day...but I hope I get to see them before any more of the family passes...
The Rain The Park And Other Things (aka "The Flower Girl") The Cowsills I saw her sitting in the rain Raindrops falling on her She didn't seem to care She sat there and smiled at me Then I knew (I knew, I knew, I knew, I knew) She could make me happy (happy, happy) (She could make me very happy) Flowers in her hair (in her hair) Flowers everywhere (everywhere) (I love the flower girl) (I love the flower girl) Oh, I don't know just why She simply caught my eye (I love the flower girl) (I love the flower girl) She seemed so sweet and kind She crept into my mind (To my mind) (to my mind) I knew I had to say hello (hello, hello) She smiled up at me (hello, how do you do) And she took my hand And we walked through the park alone And I knew (I knew, I knew, I knew, I knew) She had make me happy (happy, happy) (She had make me very happy) Flowers in her hair (in her hair) Flowers everywhere (everywhere) (I love the flower girl) (I love the flower girl) Oh, I don't know just why She simply caught my eye (I love the flower girl) (I love the flower girl) She seemed so sweet and kind She crept into my mind (To my mind) (to my mind) Suddenly, the sun broke through (see the sun) I turned around, she was gone (where did she go) And all I had left Was one little flower in my hand But I knew (I knew, I knew, I knew, I knew) She had make me happy (happy, happy) (She had make me very happy) Flowers in her hair (in her hair) Flowers everywhere (everywhere) (I love the flower girl) (I love the flower girl) Was she reality Or just a dream to me (I love the flower girl) (I love the flower girl) Her love showed me the way To find a sunny day (Sunny day) (sunny day, sunny day) (I love the flower girl) (I love the flower girl) Was she reality Or just a dream to me
This was "Deja vous all over again", for me, as I assisted in their appearance at the (former, sadly!) sister "rotational stage" venue, Devon, PA's Valley Forge Music Fair in the early 1990's.
The deadest audience have seen in a long time..how can you not get up for that song, Live and in Person? Back to sleep now. Wow. Bass player plays for Tommy James too.
Bill, the average age in that audience was at least 70. There wasn't going to be a mosh pit. The crowd was into the whole show. Also that band (including the bass player) play for every group that does the happy together tour and their occasional solo shows
Probably doesn't need to play one live. They have a band behind them and he's sorta the hype man. So being free from an instrument makes him able to move around more
There are very few songs, I consider perfect. This is one of them. The harmonies, the melody, the lyrics. Perfect!
Are you bald? Need clean glue?
@@denniswilson6673 You have the ability to be loved. Open you heart, and let the sunshine poor into your dark world. I will pray for you.
Susan is 63 here!! I can't imagine my mum doing that when she was 63 😆 We're as old as we feel 😁
Or my Grandparents !!!
The guys are in their 70's they're all awesome.
It's 1967 again. The Cowsills sound great!
What great voices and harmonies after all these years,,,impressive-remains one of the great songs of the sixties
I never get tired of hearing this song - just makes me so happy
Ni yo me canso de oírlos.
Love the Cowsills. Yes great to see those still with us are performing so magnificently in 2022.
I love this song! I like Susan's new look!
The Cowsills are truly a professional and class act! They harmonize so well... and Susan Cowsill has great legs.. she is beautiful
I went to the Happy Together Tour to see the Turtles. But to my surprise, the Cowsills were the best act. Paul Cowsills energy got my attention. He really made the show.
I agree 👍🏻
I got to put my arm around Susan for a group shot
I went to this show in Grand Junction CO just for something to do and was blown away. The Cowsills opened the show and stole it. Also dug the Vogues and Classics IV. Good times.
Paul is awesome. Hes fun. If you didnt know the Cowsills hace a podcast on youtube every week. Paul is such a clown. Hes my favorite Cowsill!
@@100hooker neither of those two groups have any original members. I don't know why mark volman allows them to play
Lot of tragedy in the Cowsill's story.
It's great to see they are still performing.
I too had an abusive father verbally when he would drink alcohol after the Navy he never physically abused us but as my older brother got older he started it’s good to see that they fought all the trauma and turmoil
Why does everyone have to bring up misery and death constantly. Can't you just enjoy a song?
Yes, and the new album Rhythm Of The World is fabulous.
@@JOHNWLOUCKS Thanks. I didn't know they had a knew one. Will check it out.

Susan is so pretty!
Never gets old. They sound better than ever. They persevered through so much heartache.
True, but they are hanging on. I was a baby when this song came out.
One of the best feel good songs ever!! Susan is my flower girl
And to think how old they are they still have their voices. I like them a lot
Love The Cowsills! They are too good for this lackluster audience.
The audience was great. It was a full house. You also have to consider the the average age of the audience members was around 70. I was one of the youngest there and I'm 47!
Mejor no hables
They still look and sound GREAT!!!
I love their stage presence here! What a song, how they captured that special summer of love! Long for that era!
Great group. Great memories listening to them growing up in the 60s
WOW, I HOPE ALL THE GREAT GROUPS LIKE THESE WILL CONTINUE TO PLAY DESPITE THEIR AGE...
I saw them 3 days earlier in Charleston SC. Great show!
Great. It made me happy.
Me too 🙂
Brings back great memories of my childhood during the 60’s
Met Susan Cowsill at the Smithereens Concert in Carteret for a very brief and wonderful moment.
I love these beautiful souls. Through the tragic abuse they endured, they can still smile and love. Amazing people. Paul is so fun to watch and keeps that big smile. ❤
Too hear good vibe music, and too feel young again

Susan is still a doll....
Still such a beautiful song. God bless them. If I was in the audience I'd be going nuts. What a dull bunch.
🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 the audience was fine. Average age was over 70. Are you expecting a mosh pit?
@@TonysMusic1974 LOL. No, but they looked very unresponsive to me. I'm 57 and can't do a mosh pit because my knees hurt! 🤣

Not even sure what you mean by that

The Rain The Park And Other Things (aka "The Flower Girl")
The Cowsills
I saw her sitting in the rain
Raindrops falling on her
She didn't seem to care
She sat there and smiled at me
Then I knew (I knew, I knew, I knew, I knew)
She could make me happy (happy, happy)
(She could make me very happy)
Flowers in her hair (in her hair)
Flowers everywhere (everywhere)
(I love the flower girl) (I love the flower girl)
Oh, I don't know just why
She simply caught my eye
(I love the flower girl) (I love the flower girl)
She seemed so sweet and kind
She crept into my mind
(To my mind) (to my mind)
I knew I had to say hello (hello, hello)
She smiled up at me (hello, how do you do)
And she took my hand
And we walked through the park alone
And I knew (I knew, I knew, I knew, I knew)
She had make me happy (happy, happy)
(She had make me very happy)
Flowers in her hair (in her hair)
Flowers everywhere (everywhere)
(I love the flower girl) (I love the flower girl)
Oh, I don't know just why
She simply caught my eye
(I love the flower girl) (I love the flower girl)
She seemed so sweet and kind
She crept into my mind
(To my mind) (to my mind)
Suddenly, the sun broke through (see the sun)
I turned around, she was gone (where did she go)
And all I had left
Was one little flower in my hand
But I knew (I knew, I knew, I knew, I knew)
She had make me happy (happy, happy)
(She had make me very happy)
Flowers in her hair (in her hair)
Flowers everywhere (everywhere)
(I love the flower girl) (I love the flower girl)
Was she reality
Or just a dream to me
(I love the flower girl) (I love the flower girl)
Her love showed me the way
To find a sunny day
(Sunny day) (sunny day, sunny day)
(I love the flower girl) (I love the flower girl)
Was she reality
Or just a dream to me
Aos poucos indo embora! Gostava demais e ouço muito em casa!
