I remember years and years ago, on my late 80’s f150 you could change all 4 bulbs in 1min 30seconds flat. No special tools needed. Just hands. Any size hands, big or small works just the same. Now, working on anything is so GD frustrating and convoluted. I give up on doing stuff like this anymore. Everything is a hassle. And a sequence of very specific events has to take place in the exact order. Then, the stars must be aligned just right on the 3rd full moon from the summer solstice. Ridiculous and absurd. I’m done w it. lol
These ram trucks use the CK style socket for the turnb signals so a standard bulbs will not work. The power and ground contacts are oriented differently for the CK socket. Lasfit makes both versions of the bulb. You would have to use the 7443/7444na CK bulb from lasfit
With the blinker bulbs the reason they didn’t work is that the factory bulb wasn’t a dual filament (as far as I could tell). If so it wasn’t designed with both circuits to stay on dimly and then flash. Vehicles that have the parking lights stay on all the time and then blink should work with the switchbacks.
Picking up my new tradesman this week sometime. I havent had halogen bulbs in a vehicle since I did a swap back in 2008, I plan on doing this ASAP. Appreciate the detailed video
Remove the negative terminals on the battery(s) first, then unplug the stuff, take it out, and reverse. If you unplug the sensors with the battery’s plugged in you could have some issues until it sits and relearns the sensors
It’s like a cruel joke they way they have this setup. There is an access hatch, but just big enough for a string bean arm to fit through. I have to shove and shove for my arm to fit. And even then, I can barely just grab hold of the harness to unscrew it from the housing. Then, the wire lead is so GD short, there isn’t even enough slack to pull the bulb from the housing fully. I said F this nonsense. I’ll have the dealer install them, this way if they break something they have to fix it. I’m too old now to be monkeying around with this piss poor design. I had magnitudes more patience when I was younger.
I’ve used auxbeams h11 for my low beam and they would flicker also the right side gave out in 6 months. My question to you how are your lasfit low beams
Well i would have to agree with you mostly except for the fact that the manufacture of the vehicle, in this case ram, doesnt manufacture the bulbs in their higher package vehicles. There is high quality led bulb manufacturers and im not saying these are the best because they are not. With that being said. For the amount i spent on these bulbs they are all still working with good light output. So if i can get a few years out of these for the money i spent im more than happy with them. But to agree with you most led bulbs are junk especially any t10 bulbs
That’s not true at all. If you buy cheap crap then what do you expect. Spend some money and they are good. So you’re answer is buy shit get shit. Good bulbs aren’t cheap.
So it's safe to say that, if it came from the factory with halogens. Then even if you bought aftermarket LED headlights, it wouldn't work because the housing and wiring is all different?

On the blinkers, they have a CK Socket, so if you get the 7443D-CK they will work.
i did all led on mine, i even found these cores to put on the wires to block the rf signals that the break lights give off

thanks for sharing this video. Can you share how you did dual low/high beam work together?
Great video! Very detailed installation steps.
How do these LEDs perform on your truck now?
Do you have part numbers or links to all the lights you got
BTW you do not need the canbus decoders for the install, just did mine today and no errors on the instrument panel, also installed the LASFIT lights.
Love lasfit
What year truck was it?
Did you install the turn signals from lasfit? They absolutely would not work on this truck
I got error codes in my 2021 ram.. so I Oder the resisters
🐐
On my truck with the halogen interior lights. Will dim to off with the led lights do that also
This one does
Where can this be purchased from ?
What about for 2022 ram 2500? Bighorn
That cutoff is a foot higher at that distance. Did you ever align the bulbs or aim the housings to stop blinding other drivers?
Lasfit LED Reverse lights don't work either. Won't fit the light socket. I sent mine back

Thinking about doing this to my 2021 2500 Ram, would you recommend
Help! Anyone know the LUMENS output of the stock Tradesman halogen headlights 5th Gen 2019+
What bulb is did you use for the fog lights?
Can you explain the process of what all you need to disconnect on the intake if you can’t fit your hand in there?

@@williammorgan5987 thanks. I eventually got it. Had to lift the entire intake box
Excellent, thanks for sharing . 👍
I have a 2006 Tundra that needs attention regarding the frame. Is that something i could hire you to address?
Are canbus required?
Y do u need the resistors
Anyone have issues putting the dust cover back on man it’s been hell
Do you have daytime running lights?

my friend I am a small dude and I was wondering what the design was when installing these. absolutely ridiculous imo.
Where did you order these??
I’ve used auxbeams h11 for my low beam and they would flicker also the right side gave out in 6 months. My question to you how are your lasfit low beams
Can you post the link for all these lights?
Those are lastfit h11 and 9005
Will they work on a 2023 tradesman? The site doesn’t have that year listed.
Which fog light did you use ?
I meant to tell you, i have a 2020 Ram 2500.
... all aftermarket leds are junk unless it comes from the factory prove me wrong

Sounds like you buy cheap leds. I use to think The same until one day I just had ot and bought super nice ones. They are amazing now
