Review for 2019 RAM 1500 Form Lighting Installation Video Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF): We are highly impressed with the brightness of these headlights and daytime running lights. Compared to the stock halogen headlights, these are a HUGE improvement. Installation Video: This is one of the best installation videos I have seen for truck parts. The use of red circles to highlight the bolts/screws to be removed was particularly helpful. We often paused the video at these points for clarity. Installation Challenge: We encountered a minor issue. The video instructed that for factory halogen lights, we needed to install both the LED adapter and the pigtail. However, we found that the pigtail would not connect to our factory wiring. We proceeded with just the adapter, and fortunately, the lights worked perfectly. Initial Use: On the first attempt to use the high beams, we noticed some flickering in the driveway. But after a short drive and toggling the switch a few times, the issue was resolved, and we haven't had any problems since. Time and Difficulty: The installation took the two of us about 1 hour and 50 minutes. The most challenging part was removing the two bolts inside the fender. Lesson Learned: Pushing the inner wheel well liner out of the way (towards the engine) allows you to fit your hand inside of the wheel well and access the bolts with a small 10mm socket/ratchet. Otherwise, it's a slow and tedious process to make 1/8th inch turns with a regular wrench. Overall Impression: We are thoroughly impressed with the design, build quality, and the extreme light output of these headlights. They not only enhance the look of the truck but significantly improve visibility.
This is fantastic! We really appreciate you taking the time to write such a detailed review of our product. We apologize for the confusion with the install video. We have learned that the install steps we used originally are incorrect, but have not had the chance to go and refilm a new install to resolve this within our video. What we have done is update the written instructions you have access to. Our apologies again for the conflicting instructions, but when installing them just reference the written portion during this section and disregard our video install for now. We are working towards a less confusing solution. Thanks again for the support and we appreciate the time you spent writing such a lengthy review. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out!
I just purchased a set of these and I have factory LED - will I need to use the drl harness or no? Also I’m glad I kept my old headlights for that mounting piece on the bottom of the light.
If your truck has full LED headlights from the factory you will be using the adapter harness with the purple lead, and will not need to use the DRL fuse tap harness. Please don't hesitate to reach back out with any other questions! You can reference this video as well during installation as we cover it all here.
I just ordered a set super excited! Just a quick question tho my truck is a lone star so it does have halogen lights as of now do I need to purchase another wiring harness or does everything come included ? Asking so I can order before I try to install and my truck is a 2024 so I’ll see if they work 😅😂
I have a 2020 Lonestar and these headlights were not compatible with my truck. Form Lighting says they don't have any LED assemblies that fit my truck.
We offer a standard two year warranty on all our product as well as the best customer support in the industry! The reason for a 2 year warranty is that LEDs are expected to fail within the first two years. Generally once they surpass that window the life expectancy is around 40,000 hours. Our lenses are made of durable UV-coated polycarbonate that will not fade or yellow overtime.

Do these headlights use actual LED bulbs? I’d rather not have to buy an entire assembly if the lights go out and they don’t use bulbs that I can replace
Like many other options on the market our Headlights use a sealed housing that contain a solid LED board. This means that you cannot replace individual bulbs.
