The Creek Bottom Above The Falls Was Littered With Native American Artifacts! - Arrowhead Hunting
ฝัง

- We have had the privilege of hunting for arrowheads in some beautiful places. The place in this video is right up there at the top if not at the very top. Just above the falls you see in the thumbnail the bottom was littered with arrowheads and artifacts. Getting to them is another story. The bottom is also covered in huge rocks. Moving them didn’t seem to be a problem for everyone but Spike but he and one of our hosts Will, found a sure enough bucket lister for them both, a broken gorget. We think this is one of the best videos we have ever made. It has everything, lots of great artifacts and arrowheads, beautiful scenery, great friends, great food and great entertainment. We know you’ll enjoy it!

There's no way in the world 68 folks hit the "dislike" button on this video, and they all show up overnight! Somebody is playing games.
Sorry to hear this! That does sound fishy on a solid video like this. Good group of guys sharing an amazing day…..what the heck is there not to love about this?
@@HeartbreakerRelics I had to do the same. Jealousy is a terrible thing.

What a beautiful landscape for you guys to get to hunt. Wow! BUMP!!
Thanks! It really is beautiful.
Those creek finds have been in the water a long time judging by the amount of smoothing. Another great day of discovery, recovery and camaraderie fellas ! Thanks for taking us along. God Bless America and all of you.
Enjoyed the singing Chuck ! Great song.
Yes they have. Also the depth that some were buried in the grey mud says as much. Thanks and the same to you my friend.
Awesome place for saving artifacts. Thanks for taking us along.
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching.
That’s a great song!!! And awesome finds!
Thanks!
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing this
Thanks! It is our pleasure. Glad you enjoyed it!
What a day!! Beautiful scenery, entertainment, great food, and you were able to take home souvenirs too. What a day!!
Yes indeed! Thanks for stopping by and good luck to you and Benny. Take care.
are you moving the rocks because the arrowheads accumulate there???
That's right. They either get caught underneath the rocks or over the millennia the heavy floods move the bigger rocks over the places where they've been buried for no telling how long.
Aways love seeing someone find their first one. Usually not the last! Nice array of points. Usual condition issues in a creek. Lots of beautiful material too. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks 👍
A great day in the river. Thanks for taking us along.
It is our pleasure. Thanks for watching and for the comment.
The esteem team does its job once again!!! The idea of having God brace your land with great water fall is beyond belief.... Luck family!!!! Great group of points!!!! Brrrrrrrrrrrrr Ya'll!!!!

Oh yeah! Like I said, It doesn't get any better when it comes to arrowhead hunting. Thanks!
Wonderful trip ,,beautiful treasures
Yes it was. Thanks for stopping by.
I’m from up north near Chicago. Have you ever encountered an alligator while hunting in the rivers down there or poisonous snakes?
We have seen one small alligator but where there are little ones there are big ones! As for poisonous snakes, we see them almost every time we get in the water. We have some great footage of several in some of our videos.
It’s got a serial number on it! LOL! Great show as always guys! Wish I could hunt creeks around here like that!
We never would have thought we would be able to hunt these creeks like this. Maybe you'll find a way.
What a beautiful place to hunt! Great finds! Thank you for sharing with us!!
It is our pleasure! Thanks for watching!
You got Points, Pickin’ and the Pit smokin! Quality entertainment fellas. Enjoyed every bit.

Pretty place. Y'all had a great day!
Yes it is a beautiful place but it is tough coaxing the artifacts out from under all those rocks.

Thanks! You and me both!
Wow!!
I've been to busy on my place to go looking. But I still find one here and there.
Thanks Mike and good luck!
Awesome!!! What state are you guys in??
Thanks! We are in Mississippi.

Awesome video as always and great finds!!! Best of all time with yalls friends is best. I will get yalls luck one day
Thanks and yes you will. We have met some wonderful people through our channel that we met never have met otherwise and they have invited us to some incredible sites.
I love your hospitality yall have for each other, it makes me happy to watch you hunt. All of those arrowhead finds couldnt have happened to better guys. Yall have been part of what inspired me to create my own channel, and I'm about to start uploading soon, mainly American folk music like bluegrass and stuff but also some arrowheads.
Thank you for the great comment and compliment. I'm a big bluegrass fan so let me know when you start posting.
@@HeartbreakerRelics For sure! Thanks a lot!
Awesome video my friend, love it!
Thank you very much!
Maybe my favorite vid so far buddy!!! So well done!!! Excellent finds and tons of fun!!! Hate I missed out on this one!! 👍🏻👊🏻
Thanks Mike! I appreciate it my friend. We missed yall! Wish you could have been there.
That's a beautiful place and beautiful points Happy Fourth of July
Thanks and the Same to you!
Would love to go on a hunt with you guys!
Great video I enjoyed watching. You all found some awesome points! If 60 is too cold for you Missouri wouldn't be the place for you all! We get out when its 20 degrees sometimes! Al treated you guys to some awesome cooking it looked like. Thanks for sharing and good luck to you guys next time your out!
Thanks my friend and good luck to you too. No, I'm pretty sure 20 degrees is too cold to get in a creek lol.
Bet your knuckles were sore from all the fist bumps. 😂 Looked like a little piece of heaven right there
They really were sore lol! That place is phenomenal.
Awesome video guys, looked like a good day of fellowship and finds. Looks like I missed out on a good lunch to lol .congrats on the relics and memories. Good luck next time out.
Thanks 👍and good luck to you too!
I think those laterally shaped Gorgets were use as a weight on their fire starting sticks.
That's an interesting take on them. Thanks!
I want that piece of petrified wood, looks like it would knap some nice points!
I always thought p-wood would be hard to knap.
@@HeartbreakerRelics not if it’s formed under the right conditions. It can be silicified and is basically agate
That’s a Nice First Arrowhead For Chunk? Is that his name? Anyway that’s a Beauty, All Beautiful Finds, I have yet to find to find one in the sifter, I had a nice little dalton bird point wash up right next to my sifter last weekend though and that was a treat and sifting just kills my back, I was gonna say idk how y’all do it but I just seen plenty of reasons to keep sifting lol, Thanks For Sharing, GL&HH 🏹🏹🏹
Thanks! I have to be in the water deep enough to support my "bulk". In other words I need to float every now and then and give my back a break.
Spike
Thank you very much
@@chuckluke1875 so it’s Chuck, I’m sorry brother I thought he said chunk lol and your welcome brother, my first arrowhead wasn’t nearly that nice lol, Congratulations and btw I’m giving away two arrowheads on my channel if you care to participate? I’m giving away my nicest quartz point and my nicest flint point for a 300 subscriber giveaway, I don’t care if you subscribe or not, everyone is welcome to participate, just trying to pay it forward, Congratulations again and GL&HH 🏹
That was a water scorpion, aka toe-bitter
I know it was a scary looking creature!
The guy doing the digging should be the guy that claims it!
I actually did give it to him. I had a great replica made for myself though.
@@HeartbreakerRelics that's awesome! I hate it here in Washington state. The law states we can't even pick up an artifact if we see one. If it's a federal law then why is it legal where you are? So frustrating
@@pastmasters9591 check you laws again. We can't pick them up on federal or state land either but private land is different here.
I would love to know what they didn't like?? A SOLID person would step up, not hide behind a keyboard!!! I'm Old School that enjoys throwing hands to settle problems when dialogue doesn't work or is no longer an option! Obviously whoever did this is only good with a keyboard and hasn't experienced a GOOD Country Boy A.. whipping lately!!! Anyone that does malicious acts behind a man's back isn't about anything; therefore, this person and/or people need to understand a man's back isn't a voicemail!!!
You guys are solid and put out incredible videos!!! Don't allow the HATERS to create doubt in what you guys are doing because there are TOO many that value what you guys share with us!!!! ROLL TIDE
Thank you sir! We do so appreciate your kind words and support.
God bless you all and keep up the good work and never forget Jesus loves you John 3 16 for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Y’all ever find nutting stones? Or is that a Northern thing?
All the time!
We don't find them down here close to the coast because larger stones were at a premium but up where this was filmed they're found quite often.
What beautiful points, guys! And Spike found a gorget, how cool is that? Awesome finds on a cool day!💖
Thanks and thanks for stopping by. Always a pleasure to hear from you.
Killer finds, that cotaco creek almost looks like it's made of moss agate.
Thanks! The CC is made of very high quality Tallahatta quartzite.
@@HeartbreakerRelics awesome, thanks for the info.
Are you sure that large black piece isn't bone from a mammoth or mastodon?
That's what i thought too. Randy examined it close and said it's petrified wood.
Im confused, is this legal? Im curious because I would love to find some but law says is a third degree felony, yet many people showing videos finding them..
Yes it's absolutely legal on private property with permission.
Great thanks for sharing, hope to find one place here in florida.
Hey guys GREAT video as always! Amazing Gorget and finds
My wife is wanting us to get Kayaks. I was curious what you would recommend for longer trips on the Black Warrior River here in Tuscaloosa. AL for my wife? Im looking at a Crescent Lite Tackle for myself (sit o on top style) and considering a Old Town 10 or 12 for her (sit in). My concern is ease of paddling. tracking with a balance of stability. Please let me know what you recommend and if you recommend a sit on or sit in for my wife. If you know of a good manufacturer and dealer please let me know.
Thanks for watching and thanks for your question. We have found that a 12' kayak is just about ideal for our needs. We each have different brands and Kenneth's is a 10' which is serving him well. As he gets bigger he'll probably upgrade to a 12' as well. We all do prefer a sit on top style kayak to a sit in style. We are in and out of the boat so much and it's just easier to slide in and out. I would recommend something with a wide ribbed bottom. They just seem to be more stable. As for the brand we don't recommend any particular brand. Just get something that is made of good strong plastic. Hope this helps and good luck!
@@HeartbreakerRelics Thanks Brother!
What is the name of that tune and artist that you played during the glamor shots?
It is Future King of Heaven by Zachariah Hickman.
@@HeartbreakerRelics thanks, I’ll look him up
@@manumuskin he's in the TH-cam free music library but I'm sure he probably has a website too.
Great time and finds but aged or dated of the artifacts do not line up with time of the bible . How do you explain ?
We don't explain.
@@HeartbreakerRelics ✝️🙏 Jesus Christ is the answer!
Hey bro I like your vids but you just don’t find that many arrowheads in a day
Thanks and we'll try to do better for you.
So..if guy doing all the shoveling finds a nice spear point n uses your sifter...he don't get to keep it? I'd just get my own n have you go on your own, rather than have you claim my rewards for the work
Don't criticize something if you don't understand it. We do keep what's in our own sifters, sometimes. You have to watch more than one of our videos to understand how we work. Will saw I was having trouble getting through the "crust" layer and I didn't fully understand how they were doing it so he offered to get a hole started for me and said since I had tried to get it started anything that showed up in the sifter was mine. Again if you watched each video you would see in another video where I had a replica made and gave Will the original.
@@HeartbreakerRelics I've watched plenty. Old guy is just greedy.
