i had my doubts how a single guitar would be able to convey such rich sounds that is originally portrayed from a number of diverse instruments, you proved me wrong, it was as marvelous as it comes

Great playing! There's a whimsical-ness to this show's soundtrack which I really enjoyed. It's not easy to translate a piece like this to the guitar. beautiful man =)

The new mic sounds good. Similar sound to your old mic with more details and richer. It will get better when you have more experience with it! 😀
Thanks Cecil! It’s very different recording with two mics so I definitely still have a lot of practice to do with them but I do love being able to capture everything more clearly. They’re also way quieter than my Blue Yeti so I don’t have to crank my de-noise plugin as much and distort the sound
Can you do violet evergarden: torment ost, it's mostly violin but you've been doing great at converting these songs into beautiful guitar compositions, also I really want tabs for that song : )
That one is already on my list 😀. I don’t think I’ll be able to pull it off on one guitar so I’ve been thinking about trying to do a guitar trio and just record all the parts. Never done that before so it will be an adventure when I finally try to tackle it

Thank you!! Ooh, that’s a really tough question. I’d have to say one of my favorites is Kengan Ashura because it’s the one that got me really into anime a few years back and will always hold a special place for me. I also really love Violet Evergarden (especially the soundtrack!), Attack on Titan is incredible, and I’ve been watching the Ghibli movies with my daughters which has been awesome.
What’s your favorite? I have an eclectic taste in anime so I’m open to pretty much anything and love getting suggestions

I was wondering if you could do the Frieren ost too... I mean, that series have the same composer with Violet Evergarden ...
I’m definitely open to it, I love Evan Call’s music and Frieran looks amazing. I watched the first episode and it was great but I got sidetracked by other things and haven’t gotten back to it yet.

They’re all other people’s compositions but I do the arranging. I do all my arrangements by ear. First I get the melody down, then the bass notes, and then I fill in harmonies and edit until I’m happy with it.
