LOVE the plates. That's exactly the belt I would buy. All gold with blue gems. Although I would want the blue strap with red backing I would have to get that thing releathered. That looks like plastic. Love the color but the quality leather has to go. Beautiful belt. Perfect choice.
I Agree with you , the faux is not bad, but it does not hold up to a pure leather strap, been thinking of maybe going that direction as well :-) Many thanks for the comment!
@@1StopWatch202 I wish I could releather my Big Gold Luxe Edition but I've got autographs from Hogan, Flair, Sting, Goldberg and Luger on the back so I'm stuck with Fandu faux leather. I love my Big Gold and I love that WWWF belt too. I gotta get it for my collection soon. It's priced very nice too.

There were apparently 4 different colored straps. The all red strap was worn by Stan Stasiak, Bruno Sammartino, and Superstar Billy Graham. This one was wrong by I think Graham and definitely by Bob Backlund. Backlund also worn ones on purple with a green backing and all black.

Silver? These were all Gold. Pedro Morales' belt had a Silver eagle but the eagle was different
I did not know that, I'm still learning the history of this masterpiece. I wish they could scale it up and bring it back some way in the current matches.
