I can tell ya that my winged eagle replica (the 2022 "updated" dual plate one which had the proper spelling of "heavyweight" on it) strap is the same, it's a shame because I can see the faux leather bubbling up from the crap that's inside it. Thankfully, if I play my cards right, by next year I SHOULD be able to get Paul to releather it as well as my 2005 Fig inc WCW Big Gold replica that I bought ages ago on eBay that has my "UNDERTAKER" nameplate on.
I want to see you do one of the belts with the velcro and the snaps on the same belt like WWE does now. I know that they have the female and the male snaps on the Belt besides the velcro. I saw it when I was at a NXT show here in Orlando, Florida at The Performance Studio at Full Sail University.
Are there any plans for another custom belt video? Would love to see the process not covered in the Jam belt and a full in-depth of tools used etc. Would also love to know where you get the Zinc from. Can’t find it in Australia anywhere.
Great work as always Paul, although I will admit, with you mentioning previously how wide the strap was, I'm surprised that you kept to the same with for the releather/send out, unless there was nothing you could do about it. Incidentally, and mental note to self, I must get a send out strap for my Classic Tag soon, and complete the set of all of my belts being made by you. Cheers 🍻
What type and size of Veg Tan leather are wrestling belts made from? And what type of leather is used for the backing? I'm interested in making straps for my belts. I think it would be a fun hobby to just get into leather craft in general.

I'm surprised how beat up the back of the stock strap was. That belt was essentially in new condition. Still had the plastic on the female snaps.

My Undisputed V2, which also had a lot of scratches on the edges of the main plate, also came with a pretty beat up strap. I returned it.
