- Well, I finally managed to get around this project done. Here its my take on titans, basically.
Huge thanks to @SpriterMike for making the animation, without him I wouldnt be able to do this.

I like how the soundtrack is an adaptation of “The Dark Truth” into an epic battle theme, and I believe this is something Toby would totally do, this is a masterpiece!

the titans speaking and having names and personalities is REALLY interesting. i always assumed theyd be like, an unknowable barely-if-at-all-sentient eldritch force, but characterizing them adds something very neat. also the music bangs QUITE a lot. good video
edit: to be clear i would want them to be unknowable eldritch beings in canon, i just think this is a neat take on them
I just kinda thought as them being a metaphor (kinda)like yeah there’d obviously be a huge catastrophe but the thing causing it wouldn’t be a physical entity and the titans are more a less of a spectral being than a physical being (oh and gaster just comes in last second like omega flowey like asgore and fucks everything up)
I would prefer them as eldritch beings tho

This song gives me huge ASGORE vibes and I love that. It fits so well as it's also meant to be an "endgame" song. Of course there's the massive basis on The Roaring theme that people brought up that really works here. It really sounds like a "The Roaring" version of ASGORE like I said earlier. Props!
Lucifer also looks a good deal like asgore, between the trident, crown, and cape flowing in the wind
I really like how the titans kinda mirror the gang like how Lucifer parallels Kris as a leader Draco being brash like susie and Polaria being reasonable like ralsei
This makes me think it would be cool of they, like the party, when hitting 0 hp go "Down" and will revive after a few turns
Is the big guy akin to asgore? Really tall, has a trident, is the final boss, and he appears to be wearing a crown.
100%. Look at his cape and overall silhouette.

Partially. His design was based on Asgore's silhouette from old Undertale Kickstarter trailer, yes. But thats like part of it, he was inspired by other stuff I like.
Lucifer design is basically mish-mash of like Asgore, Nightmare Knight from Cucumber Quest, Nightmare from Kirby's Adventure and Black Doom from Shadow the Hedgehog.
So there is that.

My titans go more on "titans are allegory/stand in to adults but arent literal adults turned into titans" theory thing.
Basically you could kind of say, that they are disgruntled adults who are somewhat pessimistic, because they gotta deal with "real world" and like responsibilities of that, which isnt fun, as you can imagine.
They dont like lightners/darkners because they are irresponsible and arent like facing the "real world", but instead go into escapism, which as they see it. Causes this instability. Thats my view on it, at least.

Honestly, I always pictured the titans as mindless monsters. But I think I prefer the idea that they have personalities and are centient
This is so cool, I love this! All three titans having different designs, and the way Draco speaks. The music being a remix of The Dark Truth doesn't sound like something that would work, but it does.
Anyways since this is getting some traction, I want to mention quite few things:
- Will be there part 2?
Probably, but don't count on it. This project already took me a long time to make, since I have billion things to do. Either way, if I get around it and have some help on this, it might happen. Until then, yeah dont expect much.
I wont be uploading much on this channel, besides some other project shit I am doing, so keep that in mind.
- Could this be turned into a fangame?
Good question. Truth be told, idea for turning this into a fangame has been something I have been thinking about. It would be cool and fun to do it. But there would be some issues.
First and foremost, finding people for it. Even tho I am rather crafty, I cant do everything myself (not to mention, i am not much of a coder). Another issue would be game design, how battle would playout and what engine to make on etc. Next is time and focus. These days I am rather busy person, not to mention lazy as hell, along with me having other stuff to work on.
So as much as I'd like to make fangame of this, not possible in these times. Maybe if I had some help along with me knowing bunch of important skills in future, I may reconsider. But right now, its out of the question. So, nope. Not gonna happen.

This is fucking perfect, I love that one looks sorta like a brute, all fists no weapons. Another is a sorta Rogue, dual blades. And another is like a Knight/Asgore. Very royal and regal.
This sent chills down my spine so many times! And the music is absolutely insane-- not at all what I was expecting, but exactly what is needed. Beautiful work!

I totally agree with the Don't forget leitmotif, it's not in a sad tone like hidden boss fights but rather a bright and pleasant tone like Hopes and Dreams
love how you kept the detail that our hps and attack rise as we level up in each chapter

I like how the comunity gradualy shifted from chapter 3 predicting to emagening the final boss
the start evokes the feeling of the alarms of the omega flowey bossfight
the overall vibe and feel is completly correct

Yeah, I couldn't add the animated background because it was like pre-generated, if I recall right. Maybe I should have dmed you about it, but oh well. If I work on something like this next time, I will dm you about it.
So the first adaptation of the Titans has them as colossal mindless beasts, and the song clearly shows that there is no way to win the fight.
This is the exact opposite, titans are much smaller, are sentient, and the song is filled with hope.
I have no idea what I like more tbh.

i like how the kinda beginning to the song sounds a bit like asgore with how it starts but also of course sounds like the dark truth
Okay but I love how the battle music sounds almost hopeless at first, and then it evolves to become incredibly exciting and an absolute bop. It’s like the battle seems impossible at first but once you get into the fighting spirit, you realise that you will definitely win this fight. Reminds me of Asriel and Hopes and Dreams. Overall, incredible video, you have my respect.

I believe the Shadow Sword is what the Shadow crystals form once all Crystals are obtained in the seven chapters

I think this is a really cool take on a battle with the titans and yeah, besides the size I do think the sprites look really cool.
The only problem I see with this is the fact that when we get to know about the titans, ralsei also says that all darkners would turn to stone when the titans appear. Ralsei is also a darkner so having ralsei in the fight wouldn't make a lot of sense.
Besides that, a really cool take though!

Well kind of fair. Honestly I assume personally that Ralsei is extempt from this, due to his pure dark fountain thing, but thats my guess. Besides I couldnt have a replacment for ralsei in this istance, Noelle has been kidnapped and as for berdly and others, out of comission as well.

When does it say Ralsei is a darkner? He can travel around dark worlds and doesnt turn into stone, aswell as people in the Dark world dont seem to notice him much, he also knows about your SOUL (something that as far as I remember only Ralsei and spamton mention on the entire game) i think he is something else. Why would he turn into stone if he didnt in the Cyber world
I agree with a guy who says that there's no information about Ralsei can turn into a stone.
I don't think Noelle would still be this involved by the end, i mean, that was only chapter 2, but this is still very cool, I absolutely ADORE how "The Dark Truth" was turned into a boss theme, and I love how the Titans were characterized, maybe they could be more than just some world ending disaster, that's amazing!

Considering how toby fox writes characters and the ONLY mindless beast type characters he wrote were the amalgamates in the true lab which was a VERY short section i'd imagine this kind of writing style for each of the titans makes more sense for toby foxs writing style because then the titans would be able to have great writing moments and that seems to be a main priority toby has done in the past like with lancers dad in chapter 2

i would imagine attacking would only weaken their attacks for the round, there would have to be an alternate way to defeat them considering theyre immense power
Having the Titan's theme be similar to Asgor's fits quite well. Considering that most likely we'll have to fight the Angel or Gaster afterwards.

Doesnt help they arent exatcly 100% thrilled on "world ending" plan. They are only doing it because they feel like they have to and for Lucifer's sake, as he is dead set on it. He is also harsh here, because he knows they don't vibe with it that much, so he feels like he has to keep them in line. Hence why he barely emotes here, he is pretty goddamn serious right now. Doesnt help, they are pretty much the last of thier kind. Usually he is bit more chill, not the case here.

fun fact: there will probably be more then 7 chapters. a different youtuber, HalfBreadChaos made a theory video, looking into deltarunes code seeing that there are startup screens for up to chapter 10. even if toby was just testing it for double digits there would only be one reason for him to need to. to make 10 or more chapters. most people just assume there will be 7 because thats whats listed when you start the game. however, thats probably not all there will be. you will probably be able to scroll down to reveal more chapters then just 7.

I like to imagine that much like how Toby fox games mostly work out, the Titans are not pure evil and do have redemption, but it’s gonna be quite some strength and effort to spare them

Hey! If you can try to make an animation about this project.. Welp yknow this is hard working but you can try to show some attacks like 1 titan will use their first attack and so on..
To me Titans being the beings at omega flowey level, the giant mountain sized bringers of chaos shadows that take away all the light if all the fountains are open makes them feel more meancing in general.
As for the metaphorical meaning they would represent chaos itself, a freedom where everyone does everything they want with no restrictions or repercussions and from that chaos would occur which is uncontrollable if allowed to happen.
You know the whole Concept is awesome, until you realize that there were 2 of these tall Sharp Titans in the Story.
But besides that i really like this!

I just feel like they're too small... in the cutscene, you see them as these massive figures towering above you, ready to cause chaos. the rendition that Tempotastic's cover had is EXACTLY how pictured it. Great video, nonetheless

Ironic how the leader of the Titans, the ones supposed to bathe the world in darkness, is named "The light bringer" huh?
It is quite ironic. Their names are actually star related. Polaria with Polar star and Draco with star constelation.
Lucifer's name was also based on like devil stuff. As if his horns, snake like figure and his trident wasnt obvious enough.
