I'm just watching these occasionally until a video essay about this arg comes out. Still wondering what the X represents. There's a theory that Kris drowned in the lake. Maybe that's like the sun's reflection in the water idk
So my theory is that Kris definitely drowned & Asriel punished and blamed himself (like the character in episode 1) for it before blocking Kris out of his memory (hence the "stop telling people youre my brother" dialogue in 15). judging by the TV & the lake it was most likely a s***ide not just caused by the argument that made Kris "leave forever" but also other things like other people in the town judging by how Kris wishes the water would swallow the town up. the X is either the sun on the lake or Kris' corpse floating on the lake. Toriel is said to be moving away in the school video and that's probably because of Kris' s**cide. "Pit" in "Hospital" is probably a reference to the put in Kris' mind mentioned in a previous video.

coming back to this, it’s interesting to note that the bg music is mus_dontforget aka the song that plays in the egg room in chapter 1. this room is heavily speculated to be related to gaster, due fact that “egg” translated to WINGDINGS, makes: “👈👈☝️” which is how the KNIGHT moves in CHESS. considering how we have characters like the king, queen, and knight, we can say that they’re related. this also backs up the theory that W.D Gaster is the roaring knight
why’s asgores house not affected? every other house is grayed out or just missing. so is agsore kris’s only source of family at the moment or is he also just gone?
Pizzapants becoming springtrap is fitting considering THAT line of dialogue Also ironic that one of the handful of tracks repeated in both the Ch1 and Ch2 osts is entitled “You Can Always Come Home”
I looked up coronation day and apparently it's a day to celebrate the crowning of a new monarch/ruler? "A coronation day is the day of the formal crowning of a monarch or its anniversary as observed as an annual commemoration or festival." is what I found
Multiple thoughts here: • That weird colorful place Kris was walking through made them exit through that creepy door that's associated with Gaster, everyone, and everything is gray like the goner's are. • hosPITal, like the pit Kris went into earlier. • Those affected speak without any breath between sentences. • Alphys mentions how everyone is probably affected by the water fountains, the same way Kris (or the narrator) mentioned that they didn't want to drink the water at school because it's the easiest way to get affected. • Burgerpants has mended with the suit and become one... • The TV is back, talking about nationwide violence, an epidemic, perhaps? • Sans and Papyrus is gone. • Some people turn to X's when interacted with? • Kris didn't interact with some people. • Asgore's shop is intact, but it's called coronation day. • Noelle's teeth are rotting, we saw teeth before. • Supposedly, Kris' family is waiting, but the house is gone? I'm not quite sure what's happening here.

While Toby Fox’s horror is sort of psychological and hidden, it occasionally is up front. Something feels off about this idea of what the roaring would do to the light world. It both feels something Toby would and wouldn’t do for horror. This style of horror feels too up front. Toby make horror hidden in plain sight. Even when the horror is apparent, deeper layers remain hidden, only discoverable for inquisitive and explorative players.
The “Infected” talk fast, and usually have sentences run on between text boxes, As if somebody who doesn’t quite know how to use the text box space to its fullest is writing for them, It’s worth noting that the nurse for the hospital doesn’t talk like this, Suggesting she may not be infected, The man sitting next to the police tape outside of Icees is horrified at what they may be eating in there, And doesn’t show any signs of infection, Suggesting he may still be sane too, Same applies to Not Royal Guard standing next to the lake, However he refers to us as “Bros” plural, Which is odd, And then there’s the obvious ones of Monster Kid and Burger Pants, Who are clearly not infected, Although Burger Pants is melded into his suit, Christ
This is one hell of a bombshell... I always thought the roaring might turn everything grey, blending the light and dark together into a uniform nothing. But this version seems to be even more polarized, with the dark worlds showing up anywhere dark enough to have one, and everything else becoming pale under what I'm assuming is an intensely white sky? Only the people went grey, but despite being "neutralized," they're still...frantic. Why would fear be the ultimate result of the roaring, of the light and dark worlds becoming one? Is it because the light world is bland when compared to the dark world, and the dark world is scary when compared to the light world? I'm not sure what would have caused kris's home to disappear. And I don't know why Sans's isn't a dark world, despite all the lights going out. If I had to guess, maybe the lights in the store are actually still on but are starting to burn out; it'll probably turn into a dark world then. And maybe the house disappeared because Kris angered something, and this was how it decided to lash out? I'm really excited to see where this goes. I already had so many questions, but now I'm just racking them up...
@@supahsta2yeah but wouldn't someone else buy the house ? and it looks like it was just taken away like it was a dollhouse. idk a lot about houses but it's supposed to leave a bigger mark than just a big rectangle. oh !!!!! but i just noticed Sans's house is also gone !!!!!!! and it didn't even leave anything behind ????? hum... what could that mean ?

kris' walking is pretty stilted in this one, at least compared to like the text fragments video. is that just an artefact of how the video was made, or is the entire video supposed to depict a looong cutscene of kris walking around town? also absolutely horrific imagery. really well done text and graphics. f noelle, here's hoping susie is alright
i only have two things to note here that i found interesting: - Pizzapants; either he's damn Pizzatrap, or, he's a reference to the "Man in the Suit" Godzilla analog horror series, which I think would be more interesting tbh - I think the monster eating police tape is Jockington without his hat off, and I saw someone say that it's an Aaron. I disagree because I haven't seen an Aaron in deltarune like at all unless I'm batshit crazy Although the idea of seeing Jockington like that is so terrifying to me so I'm gonna go with that (Also, I heard from a guy that there's a Discord server for this ARG for theorizing???? Sign me up please!!! :D)
Has anyone mentioned that this whole scenario feels like it’s meant to be Gaster infecting everyone? Like the dialogue about games and the “thin monster cloaked in shadow” is very clearly meant to be Gaster. Also the fact ruins grey, like Gaster followers
some notes that I havent rlly seen from other commenters (sorry if it's a little unorginized): - some of the creepy "half-sane" people (ppl who are disturbing but aren't actively attacking others) seem to talk quickly and never change their face sprites - asgore's shop has been renamed "coronation day" - - according to what I found "A coronation day is the day of the formal crowning of a monarch or its anniversary as observed as an annual commemoration or festival." - monsters seem to bleed in this ARG - - burgerpants said "I had to stop when I saw the red staining my sleeve" - in the library there were books that were laid out open in a massive circle - - a ritual might've occured? - a lotta people have been giving alphys a hard time but alphys is probably more sane than noelle (and maybe the classmates knowing that she mentioned there being some sort of infection that spread through the water) - - after her little rant about finger-breaking alphys seems to snap out of it for a bit - - - alphys' face sprite changes when doing so - some of the dialogue (specifically about how long this has been happening) seems to contradict each other - - monster kid states that it was normal this morning but some othert monster said that the sun hasn't been out in days - noelle's sprite is different. - - not only is it void of color but her belly is bulging out quite a bit, almost as if something's trying to get out - - - "I drink the water at the lake and it makes my stomach writhe as if it were alive and trying to escape through my throat." man why did I watch this before bed :/
They probably didn't drink the water, but that begs the question, how have they survived this long without water? Several characters mention that it's been like this for several days.
i think my favorite part of noelle’s dialogue is the fact that her portrait doesn’t change or move at all, like she’s wearing some kind of mask. it really adds to the dialogue and how uncomfortable it is
The same thing happens with Undyne, and Alphys until she snaps out of her rambling for a moment. It seems to be a sign of them being in some sort of trance.

"A coronation day is the day of the formal crowning of a monarch or its anniversary as observed as an annual commemoration or festival." is what I found
@@CARCATGames Oh the ROM hack? I guess that makes sense. Still so confused by "hound run" though!
@@CaerwynHeart I'd like to be able to upload a playthrough of Hound Run someday.
Alphys’ dialogue: 💀🩸🔨
How she tells us about this: 🕺🕺🕺😉
Multiple thoughts here:
• That weird colorful place Kris was walking through made them exit through that creepy door that's associated with Gaster, everyone, and everything is gray like the goner's are.
If Papyrus DID adopt Kris after the Dreemurrs moved, that's probably why the house is gone, and I think Sans died?
im leaving this comment here because this is the video that got on to my fyp. hey veil if your reading this even though i just started watching today i wanna say thanks for making this it must take a lot of work to make stuff this high quality every day and i am thankful you do keep up the good work cant wait for ep 22!
I like how this implies that the dreemurr home has no foundation
bro burgerpants got fucking springlocked and he's chill about it
5:05 bro really got springlocked💀
Noelle: You should go, your family is waiting for you.
Kris: *goes home but there's absolutely nothing.*
Damn, you didn't have to do them like that 💀
While Toby Fox’s horror is sort of psychological and hidden, it occasionally is up front.
Just watch Earthbound Halloween Hack from Toby Fox and you would understand.
Now just imagine poor Onionsan!
1:11 THE TREE ACTUALLY SCREAMED?
No it's sirens
Alphys in this video terrifies me
Ok but like...
Is the song on Soundcloud
The fact that this can actually happen in the original game gaves me chills
Idk about the normal route but something like this might happen in the weird route
@@themostamericankenjaku possibly it'll be also in normal route but possibly less chaos, just people being nervous and scared of roaring
Eh, definitely possible but it is noticeably lacking Onion.
I don’t know if anybody has mentioned this but the background music sounds very similar to lavender town which is cool
it's a more coherent version of man.ogg from chapter 1
@@daneelaartik they’re technically the same song but it reminds me more of the waltz of seccom masada
Wasn't expecting to stumble upon a Deltarune ARG thing today, but I'm not complaining
Welcome to Black Space.
Kris's home is gone due to Toriel moving away
It is explained in the early school interior video
@@supahsta2yeah but wouldn't someone else buy the house ? and it looks like it was just taken away like it was a dollhouse. idk a lot about houses but it's supposed to leave a bigger mark than just a big rectangle.
oh !!!!! but i just noticed Sans's house is also gone !!!!!!! and it didn't even leave anything behind ????? hum... what could that mean ?
@@oops14314 Honestly yea the house just outright being gone is strange, but it does come after the house is abandoned after Toriel moved.
Also in the earlier Papyrus video, every trace of Sans is gone in the house.

Undyne was spitting bars though.
But are all of this videos you make in the code of deltarune, or do you create them? If you create them this is incredibly cool and in character, tbh.
kris' walking is pretty stilted in this one, at least compared to like the text fragments video. is that just an artefact of how the video was made, or is the entire video supposed to depict a looong cutscene of kris walking around town?
also absolutely horrific imagery. really well done text and graphics.
f noelle, here's hoping susie is alright
this is a certified tanetane island moment
Lore of 16_roaring town? Momentum 100
Rewatching this with the context of the ones before it is... Somehow even more horrifying.
Zone purified.
Something I’ve noticed (that other people probably have as well) is that #15 and #16 align with the beginning and end. Both end and start with a door.
I feel like when the story is finished
The channel will stop uploading videos
And therefore
Ash will be dead
Kris: These greedy mfs in Detroit stole my house!
i only have two things to note here that i found interesting:
- Pizzapants; either he's damn Pizzatrap, or, he's a reference to the "Man in the Suit" Godzilla analog horror series, which I think would be more interesting tbh
- I think the monster eating police tape is Jockington without his hat off, and I saw someone say that it's an Aaron. I disagree because I haven't seen an Aaron in deltarune like at all unless I'm batshit crazy
Although the idea of seeing Jockington like that is so terrifying to me so I'm gonna go with that
(Also, I heard from a guy that there's a Discord server for this ARG for theorizing???? Sign me up please!!! :D)
Aaron does appear in deltarune in qc's, don't remember which chapter
wait yeah i think that was chapter two
i love this stuff, were you going for some kind of creepy pasta type story? if you are it's done very well, i hope this continues further! good work!

Has anyone mentioned that this whole scenario feels like it’s meant to be Gaster infecting everyone? Like the dialogue about games and the “thin monster cloaked in shadow” is very clearly meant to be Gaster. Also the fact ruins grey, like Gaster followers
no way ultrakill reference at hound run
Well, the trout population might be insane now.
The cat alphys feeds is probably in the red trash can to the top right of the tv.
some notes that I havent rlly seen from other commenters (sorry if it's a little unorginized):
- some of the creepy "half-sane" people (ppl who are disturbing but aren't actively attacking others) seem to talk quickly and never change their face sprites
- asgore's shop has been renamed "coronation day"
- - according to what I found "A coronation day is the day of the formal crowning of a monarch or its anniversary as observed as an annual commemoration or festival."
- monsters seem to bleed in this ARG
- - burgerpants said "I had to stop when I saw the red staining my sleeve"
- in the library there were books that were laid out open in a massive circle
- - a ritual might've occured?
- a lotta people have been giving alphys a hard time but alphys is probably more sane than noelle (and maybe the classmates knowing that she mentioned there being some sort of infection that spread through the water)
- - after her little rant about finger-breaking alphys seems to snap out of it for a bit
- - - alphys' face sprite changes when doing so
- some of the dialogue (specifically about how long this has been happening) seems to contradict each other
- - monster kid states that it was normal this morning but some othert monster said that the sun hasn't been out in days
- noelle's sprite is different.
- - not only is it void of color but her belly is bulging out quite a bit, almost as if something's trying to get out
- - - "I drink the water at the lake and it makes my stomach writhe as if it were alive and trying to escape through my throat."
man why did I watch this before bed :/
HOLY FUCK, I didn't even notice Noelle's sprite changed!
Me after reading the last: Hahahaha... x2...

Also kind of strange how Burger Pants seems to be the most lucid character. As well as Monster Kid.
It's seems like the roaring is affecting everyone differently.
