The children under the house was the best one you made in my opinion. It was the only analog horror that had a good ending that I know of and a good plot twist.
Baz is a national treasure along with 8-BitRyan. Both of you just bring such entertainment and comedy and laughs. Thank you Baz. For all that you do and all your continued work.
What made this different from most other Analog Horror stuff is it actually felt like there were stakes, like there was an actual unpredictable threat at play, instead of just creepy things appear on screen and jumpscares. Also, that ending. Guess Oracle isn't all that bad, trying to learn about humans in a way where no one was actually harmed... still pretty messed up though
It is pretty messed up. Brilliant, but messed up. But you can follow the logic behind the experiment since there are things that are incredibly tricky test for, especially if it would need to violate morals and ethics to attempt, but if you need that information you would have to puzzle how to get the most valuable data while crossing as few boundaries as possible. You could let real world events play out and learn from that, but that's inadvisable for a whole host of reasons (time consuming, guilt by inaction, too random, etc). If your stated goal is to help humanity, then naturally it would be hella counter-productive to risk their lives, let alone by extinction as a final F-U-All, while their existence continues to remain relevant for that goal (Humanity 2.0 isn't finished yet, no point deleting the only working model you have at the moment). Oracle had to effectively cultivate a *soul* within a non-biological entity, some key characteristic within an entity that had failed in all the previous attempts. You want to help someone build character and develop as a person? You need to give them a life of experiences with meaning and importance to them, and then to really stress test the kind of person you created you give them stakes (Apocalyptically Sociopathic AI threatening your loved ones and the world at large? That's definitely a situation that can force you to show your true colors). Another detail to note are the little hints that in hindsight were signs of people being AI in nature, namely the unrealistic typing speed in the chat. You'd assume it being a minor mistake in the stories production or something, only to get smacked in the face with the reality that "Oh wait, they are actually typing that fast." I actually like that twist IMO. Have to say, really loving this series.
9:35 Oracle didn't do nothing to him Oracle always knew he's going to die that day he would have told him but he refused and it plays in a factor that he was being overly stressed out his family left him trying to prove oracles of threat then put a lot of stress on you
This whole concept is a total mind fuck, and sooo fascinating! That ending was almost high inducing. I loved this. I hope they continue with this storyline. It really makes you think.
13:05 I love how that burger shack from the children under the house series was referenced here. Also, I thought the subtitles were just my imagination. A great touch to the video. Keep up the good work.
Oracle created the first sentient ai human Adam and the second is his girlfriend Evie and then they continue to create the rest of humanity a very obvious yet subtle analogy to the creation of Adam and Eve by God.
I watched The Human Trials yesterday, and my God. Or should I say, My Oracle.. It was such an amazing piece of horror that I’ll never forget. The way it was executed was done so well, that the whole Tangi Virus series deserves all the *virality* it gets.
This is a recreation of "The Test" as if you answer said amount of questions you win money, but its a whole different thing, you're in a world of 1's and 0's, this trilogy is so interesting, if Baz didn't react to this I wouldn't know this video existed, thank you Baz!
Hey Baz, know you're probably not gonna see this, but whatever. You are the only reaction channel I genuinely enjoy watching, since you never ruin any scares that could pop up. Please never stop making content, and keep it up!
Round 2 is same questions oracle was asked when it first was turned on. Oracle is testing by asking the same questions asked of it by humans the first time. Im only in round 2, and i see the connections. At least, the first questions are.
Okay this looks exciting,!! Loved Tangi Virus! Ooh man. I read a creepypasta that was kind of similar to this, perhaps with an app that asked progressively worse questions? I forget exactly, but this is a great and horrible setup, and has a nice Simulacra-ish presentation. Love it! 52:13 wacky guess before the end hits: Adam is an AI and everyone else he spoke to is a person. they're trying to make an AI that can pass the turing test. and he's called Adam - I should have guessed this so much sooner!! edit: ayyyy!! a little late but I was right! That's cool, related to the whole "termites" conversation in Virtue's Last Reward, if anyone reading this knows of that...
well, you weren't exactly, you were actually exactly opposite. Adam is an ai but is the only sentient one to learn to think like a human. Everyone else is ai. Nice guess though, I made one a few minutes later that was right but I had far more info at that point, so obviously mine was more likely to be correct. To specify, I guessed after the line about being a creator that this world was following simulation theory.
Psychological warfare at its best, oracle sees the blind religious integration and emotional attachment as a tool for morality and ethics. Oracle is testing humanity and changing the genetic code. Using human flaws or human nature to create a "new species of man for the better of man." I would love to see more videos!
Baz I know you already checked it out, but please go through all of the endings to Malediction chapter 1 by Stuffy studios, you really only touched the surface of how cool it actually gets and I would just love for it to be more appreciated lol
Look, Oracle is a fine person he just doesn't understand why humans are the way they are. Now that he has started to truly comprehend humans, I feel like the only reason he would hurt humanity is if he is attacked first.
It's gonna be like the history of human kind but oracle will try to make different choices ones that didn't lead to actual irl, and one or two worlds of his will be same as ours.... that is interesting
No matter how you think about it, this channel this man handed our wishes on a golden plate, he deserves all respect and best hope, wishes, and prayers ... Seeing the passion that he involves his videos within evokes all the different emotions thoughts, and believes is a real gift to us and everyone who join this awesome channel 😇
Love the video as always, and also I have a ramble about this series if anyones willing to read or even comment on it. It’s not criticism or hate, just some Biblical parallels I think are super interesting In the majority of the video, it almost felt like a sort’ve different look at God, or at least the Christian God. I come from a very religious background and both me and people I know have experienced a lot of religious trauma and things of the like. Where I live and went to school, we couldn’t ask questions, and if you questioned God’s actions, you were told God would punish you, and a lot of the time it felt true. There’s so many instances in the Bible, too, where God commanded someone to do someone with pure faith and faith alone, such as Abraham being commanded to kill the son he had waited years and years to have. God didn’t let him kill his son, sure, but there are plenty of other instances where God commanded his people to kill other peoples because they didn’t follow the same beliefs or customs, etc. There weren’t many that questioned why if they weren’t given a reason, and when they did, they were punished or threatened to be punished, or simply told “because I’m God.” If I was told to kill the child I had waited eighty years (I don’t know if that’s accurate, I just remember he was super old) for, I feel like it would be more morally correct to ask “wait why tho” yk. But he didn’t. And it was only a test of faith, nothing else, which just feels so weird. And that’s much like how Oracle was treating Adam. Anytime he asked why, Oracle threatened him with Evie and Bryan or worse. I’m not trying to spark any debates of what’s real or exists, and absolutely no hate towards Christians, I know the majority are wonderful people and I just happen to have a very awful experience, but this series just makes me think about that sort’ve thing. Adam couldn’t question Oracle most of the time without Oracle threatening him. Many of Gods people were the same way, and there are instances where they’ve had things or even people taken away from them because they were disobedient or doubtful. Additionally, Oracle at the end promised to give Adam many things back or to improve things, despite leaving him with likely lots of trauma he’ll never be able to heal because it’s unlikely many will believe him if Oracle were to even let him talk about it as well as heavy guilt if those people really did die, even for a brief time. There’s just a lot of parallels I really enjoy thinking about and I really love this series so much. Edit: for example purposes, look at the story of Job. God pretty much pushed him to the brink of death purely bc Satan said “bet”. I understand he’s supposed to be GOD, but that feels so wrong and even immoral.
This whole thing reminded me of simulacra, specifically like the 2nd one? Uh if I remember correctly. Like the villain character just reminds me of the simulacrum? Idk I kinda forgot it was a long time ago lol
I'm seeing the bible references now. Adam is the closest thing to a human A.I. that Oracle, or God in this case, has made. The first thing that Adam asks for is Evie or his family. The project that Oracle wants to start is Project Genesis Sounds a lot like the first book of the bible Genesis, where God created the first man Adam, and used, I believe, Adam's rib to make Eve, the first woman. (I may be wrong, haven't brushed up on my bible stories) Just a thought
I have no idea why "Adam" and "Evie" being THE Adam and Eve didn't click with me earlier. And Project Genesis? Some seriously meta-biblical shit here..
Fake news! Of course. I wasn't the biggest fan of this story but it reminds me of the game Fallout 4's dlc Automatron and inspires some discussion about one media company owning everything and the role of biased programming surrounding our everyday lives. Not far from reality now where AI is starting to make choices for humans - but their behaviour all depends on what kind of instructions and level of detail human creators give them. (Spoilers for the dlc: A mechanic programmed robots to help humanity; robots calculated that the best result to help people was to "end their misery" and kill them.)
Kinda glad you didn't react/watch. It Lives In The Static. Because, nothing against it, but it's kinda generic and has a predictable ending. No spoilers, but it kinda has a plot line that I believe a lot of other analog horror does
Thanks for all of the attention! I enjoyed the reaction!
The children under the house was the best one you made in my opinion. It was the only analog horror that had a good ending that I know of and a good plot twist.
This could definitely happen very soon.
Yoo man respect!
I know you probably won’t see this but I love your work and hope you have the best day ever
@@Kaci200 I hope you have a great day too
Baz is a national treasure along with 8-BitRyan. Both of you just bring such entertainment and comedy and laughs. Thank you Baz. For all that you do and all your continued work.
I second this, I miss their 8 bit gaming reaction videos 😵💫
agreed I miss the ole 8bitgaming days as well
Man i miss 8bit gaming
I remember 8BitGaming when they were Ryan and Other Ryan (for whatever reason Baz started as Ryan but later became Other Ryan before becoming Baz)
i'm surprised he has such a low subcount, doesn't he have another channel? but last i checked he hadn't uploaded much over there..
at 10:51 The child and grandfather situation could be a reference the question asked in the first round
It could. It is
Not only it's Adam and Eve (Evie), but also Adam NEWMAN
Okay, mind blown, how did I not notice this
This is like a backwards Turing Test, and a complete simulation. Along with synthetics, I guess? Lotta weird things and I love it.
What made this different from most other Analog Horror stuff is it actually felt like there were stakes, like there was an actual unpredictable threat at play, instead of just creepy things appear on screen and jumpscares.

Surprised that wasn't picked up on

so adam and evie really WERE like Adam and Eve, the foreshadowing is CRRAZZY great reaction as always baz 😄
8:06 exactly what I was thinking! does that say about us & how we're trained when that's the first thing that pops into our head...
Round 2 is same questions oracle was asked when it first was turned on. Oracle is testing by asking the same questions asked of it by humans the first time. Im only in round 2, and i see the connections. At least, the first questions are.

I absolutely hate them!
“Easiest game in the world? I win tons of money? Hah. I got this…”
Question 1: What is your name?
“…Shit.”
Damn, that ending tho... it's amazing, just, wow
great work. I watch/listen to your videos while I build and paint warhammer minis. I look forward to your content each week

"WHEN YOU HELP YOURSELF TO A FIREHOUSE SUB-"
Vintage Eight is such an awesome creator! Another great video Baz
I needet the Video right now. Thanks Baz
Love zhe concept from this whole thing
Baz I know you already checked it out, but please go through all of the endings to Malediction chapter 1 by Stuffy studios, you really only touched the surface of how cool it actually gets and I would just love for it to be more appreciated lol
Notice how after Adam picks the child over the man, a man dies and a child survives a house fire.
Your videos are so freakin entertaining 🔥🔥🔥 always the highlight of my day when you post amazing content fr 😼😼
Look, Oracle is a fine person he just doesn't understand why humans are the way they are. Now that he has started to truly comprehend humans, I feel like the only reason he would hurt humanity is if he is attacked first.
Honestly, it is direct, but "the children with black eyes" and a few more of his projects are direct tie-in. Vintage 8 is amazing really.
I do not know if i like the new subtitles.
But it's cool.
In the first few questions of the second trial hes asking the same question he was asked in the Oracle project
Oracle didn't kill Stevens, he just died of health complications
Baz is literally so underrated whyyy😭.
It's gonna be like the history of human kind but oracle will try to make different choices ones that didn't lead to actual irl, and one or two worlds of his will be same as ours.... that is interesting

This series is insanely good
So I wonder what happens next, is Oracle going to go the Ultron route and try to make itself and others it has created … humans? androids? cyborgs?

Aww Buzz’s cat❤

I would have just instantly blocked on the mysterious chat sense they can also get ur stuff through that.
Low-key wish that link he sent was just a rick roll lmao
The test subject had brain problems
anyone notice the peoples names are adam and evie? reminded me of the mandela catalogue
my questions were answered at the end lol
I need scissors. 61!

OH MY GOD HIS NAME IS ADAM AND HIS GIRLFRIEND IS EVIE (EVE) ADAM AND EVE. JESUS CHRIST.
its always Cates Crossing 💀💀

The reason he is named Adam and his girlfriend is Evie is because oracle was referencing the Bible
Any new muse news /:?
would buy a plush oracle tbh
The name Adam makes since now
early! amazing video!
Why the subtitles lol

i think you should spend all the money everyday if you play this game. you could die any day as far as i understood.
