The first time i played this game i lost exactly 38 people. 20 from the londoners leaving, 5 from polar bears, 2 from over work, 6 from cold, and 4 from starvation.
On my first attempt I got 9 Londoners to leave. Way less than 20 which made me happy. Since I literally had 7 coal and had to heat 40 homes lol. So hard to do. Really fun tho, thanks a ton for the info. First attempt failed. I had to use a 24 hour shift. Next run I’ll build kilns early and won’t need to lol.
I almost didn't survive through the normal storm. Had to sacrifice a child. Sad. I didn't know I could use steam cores to repair exploding generator. Too late to dismantle an automaton
I remember my first try in endless with rebuilding a Generator on creaks(donno the english name of the Canyon map atm of writing this) and once the storm set in and my Generator was about to be finished, I had over 100 deaths and only 14, desperately starving survivors, used the cannibalism event and a few RL hours later, after finishing the Generator, I had a prosperous city which was almost exclusively fed with corpses till the end of times, pfft
Cool challenge. I havent fully watched the video so I dont spoil the "challnge" for my next run but I was wondering if soup wouldnt be better option instead of sawdust. It would create discontent but on the other hand it would give you an extra request for full meals you could complete.
I got the Londoners to stay in my third try (i still didn’t survive the storm though). I got it down to 9 then suddenly they were like “ok fine we’ll stay” and i got a “United” cutscene with the villager dialogue celebrating being unified. I used faith purpose though. A lot. I even did public penance. It works but i definitely wouldn’t have gotten golden if i survived the storm
Sawdust allows you to create 6 rations for every 2 food resources in the game compared to soup which creates 5 rations for every 2 food resources in the game. Compared to the base recipe of 4 rations for every 2 food, Soup is only 25% more efficient compared to sawdust which is 50% more efficient. The sickness caused by the sawdust is so minimal that it's well worth it. Hope this helped!
I managed to get through normal, and only picked faith for the lolz. Still think I would have been fine since I took most of the negative penalties, and I didn't have many deaths at all. Bunkhouse thing stung since that wasted so much micro xD and the storm was a pain too being forced to break down most of my economy to get infirmaries that went offline emidiately xD love the strat here though, very creative use of resources I didn't use
I was literally a few hours away from surviving the storm but my generator exploded because I forgot to turn it off 😢
go back to last prelaod turn it off win
Lmao
Just bought the game and beat it normally but with lots of deaths. Thanks for the great commentary!
No problem, glad you were able to beat the game.
Tell me about it, first successful attempt, I was left with 30 people 😂

What made you choose sawdust over soup?
