I never had so much fun in this game until I switched to playing tactics. I was only a brutality player but switching to tactics is so fun. I personally enjoy playing with the crossbows
The quickbow is underrated, I think. It fires pretty fast and after the 3rd arrow, every hit is a critical hit. That can be really useful with mutations
@@iskambillordu The real value comes from poison affixes for me. If the quickbow has a poison affix you can dish out a shitload of poison stack in such a short amount of time.
The Blow gun is one of the best ways to inflict poison in the game, especially with shots pierce. Its way faster than the carbine and has tracking so it's great for dual wielding builds. Slide from the blowgun to your main hand and boom, poison and maybe a crit too. You can use it with phaser and point blank too.
I really wish it was true, but alchemic carbine is just so much better. Alchemic carbine can even be a stand alone weapon with how good it is similarly to torch.
I think it better if you shoot from a far. But if an enemy gets close on you will have to be doing a lot of dodging. The blowgun can at least put an enemy down if you get close.

Another thing with heavy cross, you can run it with tactics and make use of point blank (literally what it's meant as) and maybe add in corrupted power, barbed tips, or both for that matter. It's more damage per shot with DOT but less shots and it's REALLY EASY to get hit. Overall if you can get the right window to shoot, you are good. Infantry bow: In terms of running it in tactics, here's my suggested build Point blank (obviously) phaser (hook alternative + get the 15% extra damage when hit in the back affix if you are lucky) Ranger's gear (combo with phaser for more damage.) Corrupted power (run this if you want or just use a turret) Marksman bow This bow can work when used with support weapons that have knockback and maybe Yumi. Imo lantern works with predator real good, it allows for quite long for a brut weapon wind up to hit stuff easier, and ammo + the +3 max ammo affix means 17 souls, enough to disitegrate everything in the existence

I managed to achieve my first flawless boss kill with the Hokuto's Bow and Barbed Tips. To tell me that it's basically dead is a joke. Run a modification to give it extra arrows, run Barbed Tips, and that's all you need for it to be a primary weapon that just kills enemies over a short period of time.
Great vid, as always. What do you think of a backpack tierlist? Ranking weapons depending on how viable the are while in the backpack, that might also be useful occasionally, like the giantkiller.
Pyrotechnics is a S tier to me. Fireblast has a delay between the input and the first damage that can be hard to deal with in emergency situations and requires the player to stay still while using it. I've also the feeling of a weapon that has a weak stopping power Pyro, on the opposite, brings a better range, deals the first damage faster including at point blank, and has a combo pattern that can allow to save the big fireball for a strong enemy while giving more mobility.
Try to useLlightingbolt + Acrobatipack, because everytime you proc it the lightingbolt does full damage and stop before getting the red collor and damaging you, i find it very good because since Acrobatipack have a internal CD, it matchs very well with the "cast time" of the lightining bolt
blowgun has good synergy with networking, the idea is that you tag multiple enemies while running, then focus attack on a single enemy and it will share damage to all the enemies you just tagged, or you can use barbed tips as well along with networking, just run around the biome tagging enemies once and barbed tips and networking will kill enemies by themselves. still agree on the B-tier tho
I'd put e-whip as S tier, because it's just so quick, easy, and versatile. It does like the magic missles with built in float, to cheese almost any encounter. It's practically an automatic win.

Ideally id take Giant over Clock, with foresight, a shield, and swap out owl for the chicken. By this point acrobatipack is more useful. If you have an alchemic carbine Yumis can hit both hands at once & tick damage away incredibly quickly, once hands are down, Pollo tears through the eyeballs in 3-4 pollos & giant dies. Same setup works well on HoTK, Yumis knocks him into the spikes(:p), Pollo tears through him.
The video is great, but a small nitpick i have is that the boy's axe is placed in S tier by Pseychie in the voiceover and graphic in it's section but at 30:13 it's listed as A tier. The rest of the video is great !
I had a run with Pyrotechnics that would deal bonus Dmg on poisoned Targets and an Alcemic Carbine that applied Oil on hit. The Dmg was insane but I still got clapped in the lighthouse cuz I can't 1v3 with about 6000 Health at 30 Scrolls. Tactics is rediculously squichy.
Every time the Heacy CB shows up, I get giddy. Just something about pulling things in and painting the back wall with chunky salsa is fun to me. But the alchemist carbine got me to Hand for the first time.
the heavy crossbow paired with the point black mutation also destroys enemies aswell, combine that with the reloaded shot and corrupted power and it'll probably one shot some bosses

Okay i know this is a ranged weapon tier list but Imagine if they added a God of War collab I was thinking putting the Blades of Chaos in the game. Simply put; 3 hit combo, 2 horizontal slashes and last hit would be the hyperion slam, making the area it hit covered in fire. Would deal crits to enemies with a fire dot on them Also thought of maybe the Nordic Axe, where you could have a charge attack that would throw the axe, freezing the enemy it hit. Recalling it would slow down nearby targets in an area similar to the Bloodthirsty shield. Normal attacks would only crit on frozen targets What do you guys think?
War Javelin used to be a lot better 😢 Back when it could have extra ammo affixes and was affected by Ammo mutation, it was like the Impaler but from range with crowd control. Two shots was almost guaranteed to crit or knock an enemy off a ledge or into a trap.

idk, Hokuto's is still S tier for me. it's weird that you weren't doing any damage with the alchemic carbine, but it still works wonders with the throwing knife. I put the carbine in the backpack cuz it's the slowest of the 3 dot weapons. i see you also weren't benefitting from barbed tips because of only using the carbine with it. Maybe it just got nerfed with the carbine? maybe the tick-rate of poison is set at a weird number to off-set the damage. shrug, idk, because i feel like Hokuto's by itself with barbed tips is more than enough damage to kill most enemies. especially because it's a one and done type of weapon.
I'm kind of confused about some missing synergies here. You didn't list Barbed Tips with the Quick Bow or Multiple Nocks Bow, (despite calling it out as powerful - at least previously - in the narration) and you didn't include the Phaser skill or Point Blank mutation for the Infantry Bow. Are these less viable than I thought, or was this just an oversight?

Ice crossbow carried me to 4 bc just a few hours ago all because of the +175% damage on frozen enemies. The damage got to more than 50k per crit. It's an amazing weapon
i can't speak for everyone, and i do like video's quite a bit. but the reason i don't do it for everyone and i assume it's the same for alot of people. is that i watch/listen to youtube while my hands are full. playing a game, working, working out or even trying to sleep. i understand you guys put effort into what you do, but i'd try not to take it personally when people don't like every video. it's just a result of the circumstances around actually using youtube as a site. rarely do i sit down and watch youtube while i have nothing else going on or my hands are empty.
Great video, but i have to disagree with your assessment of Bow and Endless Quiver. with tactics play style, i want to keep my distance from enemies. and this weapon shoots a good long distance. you can shoot off screen enemies pretty easily. also, i believe it works with barbed tips, so bosses can pile up some arrows. it's been a while since i ran it, so maybe i missed a nerf that changed this.

26:00 i thought there was an oil bow that specifically only shot an arrow that covered enemies in oil?
Cool video, super helpful :)
Honestly... I killed the three guardians in Lighthouse and the Queen with a Legendary Boomerang. It was bonkers
Bomerand and the backpack mutation is a fun combo
I used the money shooter for elites and bosses and electric whip for biomes. Carried me to the astrolab and i no hit giant and hotk with it
I would say the Electric Whip is S rank. It’s the only weapon I run with. Lol I love it for farming lol
love your videos they are really helpfull!
Nice video, bro
So there is totally ways to apply oil at range. First if all oil grenade I mean come on how could that pass your mind. Owl, barnacle, mushroom, and like every other skill I can think of since there almost all have some range. I'm pretty sure you can roll it on certain ranged weapons also
Ice crossbow carried me to 4 bc just a few hours ago all because of the +175% damage on frozen enemies. The damage got to more than 50k per crit. It's an amazing weapon
can you please make a video on biome selection because i'm still new and not sure what biome is best for the builds I have.
Finally!
I just started playing dead cells bc of you I had fun and killed the boss with electric whip
ice bow, nerves of steel, and magic bow are S TIER no arguement
Why did you placed The Boy's Axe in the strong S but in the final results moved to A?
i can't speak for everyone, and i do like video's quite a bit. but the reason i don't do it for everyone and i assume it's the same for alot of people. is that i watch/listen to youtube while my hands are full. playing a game, working, working out or even trying to sleep.
i understand you guys put effort into what you do, but i'd try not to take it personally when people don't like every video. it's just a result of the circumstances around actually using youtube as a site. rarely do i sit down and watch youtube while i have nothing else going on or my hands are empty.
I like the hades music
Everybody gangsta until you get a Multi-Nocks bow that shoots six arrows
Great video, but i have to disagree with your assessment of Bow and Endless Quiver. with tactics play style, i want to keep my distance from enemies. and this weapon shoots a good long distance. you can shoot off screen enemies pretty easily. also, i believe it works with barbed tips, so bosses can pile up some arrows. it's been a while since i ran it, so maybe i missed a nerf that changed this.
