Awesome video! You answered questions I didn't even know I had! I thought the dragons were going to be a little bigger, but I think their size is still impressive, and a little easier to transport... If you magnetize that wing... Lol
@@AoSCoach need more play testing but without a ward save he might be doomed to die without doing too much. I think in SCE he’ll probably be in hallowed knights and scions in with gardus for a ward save, reroll charges and once per game +1 attack . That’s what I’m going to try anyway 😂
Interesting idea, assume you have the Gunhauler in Tempest Eye. Plays a different role but a good addition. I’ll do a Cities video next week talking a bit more about the rules
Ordered the little ones, hoping my wife will pick up the large one for Christmas...I do plan on converting them so I can put an SCE rider or a LRL rider (dawnrider convert).
@@AoSCoach yeah hopefully the legs on the dawnrider are shaped close enough for the saddle on the dragon. To be honest I'm expecting/hoping at least one of the remaining lumineth nations to be dragon related (I.e high elf dragon princes heavy cavalry) so I'm just getting a head start....hahahaha
The new points were updated on WarComm about 1-2 weeks ago if you check out the AoS tab. Krondys & Karazai unfortunately are over 400pts. I believe they are 600pts
Gonna be kitbashing and greenstuff every semblance of stormcast off my dragons and I'm gonna kit bash my little dragons to not need a rider on them to be viable.
Ahhh… yeah I think that’s totally easy to do BUT I think the chaos riders legs would be positioned wider so you’d need to reposition them to wrap closer around the neck. Isn’t hard to do.
I wouldn't say im surprised but im disappointed. If they added in a fourth sprew and charge us an extra $20 we could have had big blue and big red in one kit

All good mate. Yeah its mostly the same kit so you’re left with little spares with the big kit. The small one has a few more but more like weapon accessories and heads

I probably wouldn't magnetize the wing but you probably could. It's a little thin at the joint

Yeah it does. Initially I wondered why it just says Krondys on it worried that it was a single kit but it has the parts to build both.
I was about to not buy neither of them not long ago, over the normal Stormdrake, however, I've changed my mind and probably end up with both !!!

Oh nice. I haven’t see anyone talk about an LRL conversion yet but Dawnriders could work nicely. I’d have to look at the kits closer

Fingers crossed. My guess would be Tyrion is aligned to a different creature and Dragons stay with Stormcast. Maybe something Phoenix for Tyrion

I've seen some pretty large Dragons and while they're super cool, they're not very practical for Warhammer and generally a pain to transport

How easy is it to replace a dragon riders with the chaos sorcerer / lord from the manticor kit? Thinking of getting a box for my S2D
My initial guess is that manticore head might be too big for the stormdrake guard. I don’t own the kits you speak of so it’s hard to say.

@@AoSCoach correct. I haven't bought my own yet but how much of the sprue is left over from the other dragon? I was assuming an entire sheet.
There is almost nothing spare. Head, 2 feet (not legs) and armour plates if you build Karazai.
