It’s called artistic licence and I was commenting to someone who has just discovered him so it’s the correct use of the vernacular; It’s also better when you are pointing out a mistake to use “ inverted commas” rather than shout ( ie using block capitals or flaming as its now called ) I’m surprised you didn’t correct me for starting a sentence with “ isn’t “ as technically that isn’t very good English ,but as you suggested I should have used “ wasn’t “ I’m guessing you haven’t got to that stage of your English lessons
Also why didn’t you pick me up for the incorrect song title?
Good use of the word “ thus “
Just because you have a Minster ......
Seriously , do you go round correcting everyone’s comments? My comment was over a year old ! You need a more productive hobby ( and perhaps a little more politeness and less pedantry ) ,but if you like showing off your English grammar skills , “ dip your bread “ as they say in Yorkshire

I also agree Death On Two Legs is so legendary that it must be reacted to. I hope he knows the story of the Sheffield brothers, the band living on $20 bucks a week (after their 3rd album and all that touring), and the final insult of not advancing John Deacon enough money for a down payment on a modest home for himself and and his bride. Also Cool Cat, totally addictive!! I'm so excited if he reacts to these!! Excellent choices, of course they are all my favorites too!

It is one of the few Queen songs that after listening to it a few times, puts me in a great mellow place. So underrated! And one of their greats!! I always think that if another band came up with some of Queen's lesser known songs, they would be riding the top of the charts. It's crazy that 4 brilliant geniuses came together to write and perform the most legendary songs ever!

Yep, sadly so underrated. I think it suffers from being on the Hot Space album, if you know what I mean. So many ppl seem to dismiss it and think Under Pressure was the only good song off that album 😏 how wrong they are lol.
It's like you read my mind! I was chatting with my sister about music/bands etc earlier and I said something similar about how if another band had hits with just a few of their lesser known but great songs, that band would've been huge. Crazy.
To be honest, if I made a list of my favourite 50 Queen songs I think only half would be their well known stuff. They have SO many underrated but brilliant songs tucked away.
I literally screeched with delight a few weeks ago when It's Late was played on the radio! I'd never heard it on the radio before, they always seem to stick to Bo Rhap, Somebody to Love, Radio Gaga, Break Free, Champions etc (which I love of course) but it was great to hear them play something less popular 😁 sorry for the novel xx

Because honestly, who would believe there are over 50 songs that are in my top ten...if you get my meaning! I'm so glad I'm not the only one out there like that. Great chatting with you!!! Although incredibly complex, I'm surprised they didn't play it or rework it for their live shows. After all, practically none of their songs are exactly like their records, and if you can take a duet like Under Pressure with David Bowie, and make it incredible as a solo, I would think they could do something like that with Black Queen.
