I keep waiting room full in case some of my Combat staff will be killed. So after watching over 500 soldiers and searching for everyone who knows Kikongo they were replaced with the waiting room staff. I was so pissed
SkeithTheCursed Thing is I did not notice that the parasite was affecting those that spoke Kikongo, so I lost quite a batch of men.

Loved this Boss Fight; me and Quiet took them all on together. I had the M20 Sniper Rifle and she had the Sinful Butterfly; we kicked the shit out of them. I remember after we took down the first three, the last one had me cornered dead to rights, and out of nowhere Quiet blew her fucking head off. Shit was awesome.
this is what i love about then game the sheer volume of ways to complete missions. im a distance guy so snipe fire support, and my warhead rockets.

Noctocyanin and D-Dog are a must for this mission for me. I've tried stealthily getting closer with the Walker but just kept getting caught by all of them and Quiet just constantly gets sniped back unless you're taking the time to move her position (something the AI should really do itself).
I knew shit got real when they managed to injure Quiet.
The Skulls Looks like Borg that trying to assimilate people.
I love how everyone is saying quiet was trash on this mission. I haven't even played the game but how do you expect an npc to finish an entire boss battle for you?
+Daniel “Rifky” Tromley I think it's because Quiet can usually kill most of the enemies for you in normal missions. However now that you're up against 4 sniper bosses, she obviously can't do that any more.

A trick is to keep relocating Quiet by going into commands on the idroid. Every time you make her fire, move her away. Definitely keeps her alive that much longer.
My Quiet actually kicked their asses, she took two of em out without me even noticing until she had to leave the hotzone
They're all either retarded or unprepared. Quiet is beast on this mission

Very nice battle. I simply walked through the river and climbed up a few cracks in the rocky ledges and dodged the female Skulls to and from the mission objective. Never fought the female Skulls.

I didn't let quiet shoot any bullets until two Skulls remained. I was the one shooting them with a sniper. I sent her to scout instead on a different place and than I called her back here so we can finish the job together. And so we did. And in extreme I did the same but I had to leave one skull with half life and then Iet quiet take the last shot. I couldn't let my girl get destroyed. I just couldn't.

i found out after completing the game , this was boss fight. when i did this mission i sneak past them and never got to fight against them.

+PitchBlackFox there are different ways you can do the mission with the skulls. my point was it isnt a boss fight if you can go past them.

This sniper battle and the one with Quiet still pale in comparison to The End battle.
Because the end you had to change came and eat food and keep up stamina and always focus where to find him. I agree but these are still alright sniper bosses
agree, if you dont cheat (eg wait a week of save time or kill him in the wheelchair) then the fight is so atmospheric and silently intense. how they got that out of previous gen consoles i have no idea, i know graphics arent everything but it seems easier to create an emotional response from something that looks/sounds more real which todays consiles do alot more well.
+Kinos141 Indeed, this was quite an easy fight when you can spot them with their laser pointers. The fight with The End was much more challenging and satisfying. However, I like how they made the skulls unit so scary and makes you feel like they're impossible to defeat.

I think that nothing compares to Sniper Wolf boss fight. I mean, you had to take pills and all that just to aim properly and if you were lucky, you could make a proper shot and Hit her... then the CG part...hearthbreaking.
I had researched the 8x scope for my rifle, so I sniped them from the starting position using the mildots to compensate bullet drop, felt like a fucking badass.
The camera angles are hilarious. Like could it not be any more obvious?

I just realized that treating Quiet would be difficult since she can't be covered too much by things like bandages. I don't know who I feel worse for, the medical staff or Quiet.
Its stupid that you cant grab them when you sneak behind them and if you place 7 C-4 behind sniper it takes only damage worth of 1 bullet

After saw them pulling out their rifles and realized that i was up against 4 quiets,the anxiety kicked in fr, i thought i could wait it out but then they show up right next to me while invisible 😂

i have a guide that has the traits of every person of importance in the game...and that includes the skulls... so here is goes xD ..
those are not boobs ..they are tumors ..huge tumors filled with the equivalent of the jelly goo that BB found on one of the black guy who had a earplug on his throat (only men dont get tumors just the jelly)....and all skulls are infected on a REALLY advanced stage (unlike Quiet who only partake the infection as a healing treatment for her 90% crisped body after the intro before she was sent in the field again)..the guide further points out that unlike all other HD MGS's in this one ALL WOMEN SKULLS (including quiet) has the EXACT same body measures (except height)..which is a side-effects of the infection..and the virus since its from the same strain its doing the exact same to ALL BODIES ..which is why EVERY SKULL (including quiet) has the exact same boobs and ass..because they are not boobs..they are goo tumors (it doesn't say anything about their asses)...
when kojima wanna see you looking at boobs..either its fan service (mgs4 naomi) or something perverted is happening (mgsv quiet and skulls).. high insight is a bitch isn't it

I used Quiet to cover me with the Brennan. She nearly died (got extracted out before she did thank Christ), but she took 2 out for me and injured the 3rd. I just picked the last two off with my suppressed sniper.

I drove through the woods with a tank and almost at the end the tank was about to explode and ejected me out. Ran like a little bitch out of the woods while my tank exploded. I literally couldn't move an inch and my head was getting blown off they were tracking me like I was on radar.

I used air strikes first marked them then air strike then use quite but don't use cover me command quite will fire with out cover and if she gets to injurd and ocelot will fulton her out of the mission and use all that and eventually there's one alive and you can kill or escape and go to code talker

Yeah, that whole Fanservice thing is silly and kinda clashes with this game's tone, but whatever... There are bigger fish to fry.
The thing about the Skulls' parasitic weapons, I noticed that too; on top of the Skulls' ability to become intangible and having super agility, they can materialize weapons into their hands. For example, in the beginning after rescuing Kaz and the Skulls appear for the first time, if you're spotted, they materialize assault rifles right into their hands.
Also, those exploding stone spikes that emerge when the Skulls use their powers, or when MG Sahelanthropus slams it's Plasma Whip down... How can they form, and appear to chase Big Boss?
Could this parasite not be organic, but actually synthetic? I really don't wanna say "nanomachines"; like that isn't a dead horse that's been beaten enough... But perhaps the Parasite could be somewhat of a precursor to FoxDie and another nanite-based afflictions and enhancements in the world of Metal Gear?
Making it rain weakens them considerably.
Am I the only one who used a tank for this mission? Called it in, jumped in and shot them all haha, they will sometimes blow the tank up with grenades but you just get to cover, then call another one in if that happens...
